Greetings citizens, as we head into the first highlights for the final series on Five
In the previous Big Brother adventure, the doors of the house opened for the final launch night on Five, and 14 new civilians crossed over the threshold, in what can be described as potentially a very cut-throat series.
Sian was picked by the public to have the first advantage of the series, in which she gets a head start with 100 BigCoins and top of the leaderboard, in which the three housemates with least BigCoins will face the public vote. Simply put, no nominations for week 1.
We pick up the action at the point where Big Brother was dropping the BigCoins from the ceiling, and it's all systems go much like Hungry Hippos as housemates scramble around picking up as many coins as they can.
Anamelia is shouting at everyone not to touch her coins, they're right there on the table so they are not yours yet until they go in your bag. She then starts shouting at Isaac as he takes a few of the coins on the table. It's a game, Anamelia, weren't you listening to the instructions. Every housemate for themselves.
Akeem name drops Tom Jones, as some of them get to know each other around the table.
Cameron wonders how long they have been in there already, and then Ellis reveals it's her birthday as it has gone midnight. She starts dancing on the table. Isaac asks Lewis G who he fancies, and he says all the girls were looking good. Kay's name is bandied around. Lewis F reveals he is single.
Housemates coins are called to the Diary Room individually to weigh up their BigCoins
Big Brother open up the garden, and the mad rush ensues especially from Ellis who is already trying way too hard to be noticed with her cringey dancing. Kay is telling Lewis F how she was lost for words about her experience entering the house.
Meanwhile in the storeroom, Lewis G and Ellis are already getting close, some would call it being desperate for a showmance. Discussion in the garden has already turned to Lewis G, with Cameron saying Lewis is already interested in Ellis. Isaac in turn says Lewis is harmless.
Kenaley and Brooke are bonding over Buddhism, Kenaley not as fearsome as I thought but there's plenty of time for that opinion.
Ellis is already cooing over Lewis G, desperate or what. Let's hope this showmance is nipped in the bud very soon.
Now for the bedroom twist, whoever gets Bed 13 gets a special power. Holding that power will be ZOE. Basically Zoe is given a power where she can swap coin totals with anyone on the leaderboard on Friday. The power is optional, so she doesn't have to use it if she doesn't want to.
Sian tells Big Brother she doesn't know whether her advantage will help or hinder her, meanwhile Lewis G and Ellis are dancing in the bathroom, and all of a sudden he picks her up and less said about where he sticks his fingers the better. Won't even put a pic up it's that disgusting.
Tomasz is snoring the place down, much to some people's silent amusement. He is so on the block when nominations come back into effect. Meanwhile Bellend, I mean, Lewis G and Ellis are already sharing a bed.
Time for a new day, and the first full day for the housemates. Lewis G and Ellis are swapping saliva. Yes, Ellis is trying to be the centre of attention by dancing in the middle of the bedroom. Big Brother informs them that small coins (1pt) and big coins (10pt) are hidden around the house. Back to the sickening showmance, Lewis G asks Ellis how she likes her eggs in the morning, she says waking up with him is the best thing. Please, come down from Mount Olympus you have only known him a few hours at best.
Cameron explains how he couldn't sleep due to Tomasz's snoring, meanwhile talk in the garden turns to triskaidekaphobia or however the hell it is spelt. Next tally up of the housemates coins ensues.
Sian, Akeem and Cian lead the way on the leaderboard so far, while at this early stage Ellis, Brooke and Tomasz are bottom 3.
After Zoe has officially recieved her power, she breaks down saying she misses her son. But you decided to come on this show, so where's the logic, Zoe?
Brooke and Tomasz are talking about the other housemates, she says she know who is going to argue and that she doesn't know if she will argue, and here comes Ellis.
Anamelia tells Lewis F she won't sleep with anyone unless she is in love with them
Cameron tells Zoe he doesn't even know how to do a press up, this guy has got the Glyn type journey written all over him. Anyways Zoe shows him how to do said press up, and he says he feels so unfit.
Anamelia tells Kenaley she barely goes out to meet people as she thinks people don't understand her. Oh please, this fruitloop is so going out of that house early. She's just the UK version of BB20's Kaitlyn.
Brooke, Kenaley and Cian are discussing erogenous zones. Thankfully Big Brother cuts that very short as they reveal the top 3 on the leaderboard via the memory wall
Ellis is called to the Diary Room, but it's not happy news. She is told about her social media tweets, and she is found guilty of posting said tweets and Big Brother informs her that is she is removed. In the dining room, shock all round as Big Brother tell the others she has been removed.
Bet Lewis G will move onto his next conquest in no time at all, I wouldn't be surprised if he worked his way around every woman in the house including Brooke. He is in the Diary Room saying he is missing Ellis.
And right on cue he is already moving onto Brooke, good luck with that, pal
Time for another challenge to get more coins, but with Ellis's exit, one housemate will have to miss out and as she is in 1st place Sian gets to choose.
She picks CAMERON to miss out
Sian and Akeem now have to pick two teams
Sian - Cian, Anamelia, Brooke, Lewis F, Tomasz
Akeem - Kenaley, Isaac, Zoe, Kay, Lewis G
Big Brother will ask each captain a question about one member of the opposite team, so basically a bit of shit stirring. If the answer is correct, the number of big coins they decide to bet will be added to their winning stack. Answer incorrectly and the opposing team gets the coin instead.
After a few questions the winners are TEAM AKEEM
Lewis F is trying to politely decline talking to Lewis G, meanwhile Tomasz is feeling down about losing the last challenge
Top 3 now revealed as 3rd: Sian, 2nd: Kay, 1st: AKEEM
The housemates have now decided to host their own chatshow, meanwhile what's a TV doing in the bedroom....Guess we'll find out in due course.
Anamelia trying so hard to be the centre of attention, as she takes offence to someone telling her to shut up. Her and Isaac take their argument to the dining area, and this is literally an argument about nothing in particular. Guess what, she's at it again in the final part of the show now squaring up to Lewis F after the earlier 'chatshow' segment. Oh boy, she is so getting nominated when nominations come back.

Final thoughts
A little bit for everyone in that excellent first highlights show...Showmance, arguments, housemates being pushed, the list is endless. I dare the casuals to call that episode boring. Anamelia working so hard to get nominated when they kick back in, and wouldn't surprise me if we lose her. Don't think she will go this week, as I think she will scrape through and not be bottom 3 on the leaderboard. As for Lewis G, my blog's Bellend of the Week, less said the better. Desperate for a showmance, and doesn't care who it's with. Personally looking forward to Brooke knocking him back and bruising his Jupiter sized ego.
