Big Brother USA 2021 - Finale (Azah v Derek v Xavier)

 History in the making as we head into the final episode of this season, where one of Azah, Derek F or Xavier will get the life changing $750,000 cheque, and also the title of first ever civilian black winner of the USA branch of the franchise.

Back again for one last waltz this series, as I don't cover the recap episodes which basically were what Friday and Sunday's episodes were, although we did get to see part 1 of the final HoH comp....

Previously

Putting the recaps to one side, the final 3 of Azah, Derek F and Xavier celebrated making finale night but not all was well beforehand, as you may have seen when Kyland struck a low blow on Xavier by mentioning Xavier's nephew in a less than complementary manner, which nearly caused fists to fly if not for Julie screaming at Kyland to get out of the house, but kudos to Xavier for showing restraint.

Once the dust had settled on that and Kyland eventually left, it was champagne all round and also video messages from home for the final 3.

As far as part 1 of the final HoH is concerned, it was simply endurance as they had to hang on their rockets for as long as possible. Last houseguest on their rocket would advance to the not so live part 3, which will be in tonight's finale, while the other two would face off in part 2, which will be a condensed edit on tonight's show.

So much to pack in alongside the HoH comps, as in questions from the jury, pre jury evictees and of course the voting to decide the winner of this year

Who will join Ty from Canada, Marley from Australia on the winners podium as the third black civilian winner in 2021? THE JURY DECIDES

Final HoH, part 2

And straight down to business with part 2, and it's a quiz based comp between Azah and Derek F. Quite simply the competitors have to answer the questions on a four slot based pictures of houseguests. They have to move the four wheels around to the correct four houseguests.  Fastest four to get 3 correct answers wins part 2 and joins Xavier in part 3.

Oh boy, a no brainer as AZAH moves on to part 3.

However on the remaining feeds of the season, there have been rumblings Azah will take X, while X will take Derek.... Either way X wins, unless Azah surprises everyone and cuts Xavier.

Derek's delusions know no bounds, as his self entitlement to be in final 2 demonstrates. Whoever wins final 3, PLEASE cut him in 3rd place.

No special guest this season due to obvious reasons

Seriously though, what is the point in this.... Xavier has this wrapped up no matter who wins HoH part 3. Absolutely no suggestion or hints that Derek is going to win, which is as it should be. Nuff said....

Final HoH part 3

Here we go, whoever wins this comp gets the casting vote

Another quiz involving the jury members, and it's all about to pick out which statements are false. 8 rounds, and the highest scorer gets said casting vote

And the final HoH of the season goes to XAVIER, no real surprise. Don't be too surprised to see him cut Azah here, and take Derek Dolittle to final 2. 

Told you so, Azah finishes in 3rd place and Derek Dolittle is guaranteed a big sum for doing absolutely nothing. 

Not going to bother with the jury questions as this is basically over now as a contest, but just to hear Derek make a complete fool of himself with the delusion that will spill forth when it's his turn to answer questions and indeed his final plea

Derek didn't disappoint in making a complete fool of himself in the jury questions and also his final plea, that was a complete farce. Even Julie was trying not to laugh during that segment.

Winners vote

Well, the short wait begins as the jury cast their votes, with more filler following afterwards. But I do want to point out Britini revealing her autism. Took a lot of guts in that pressure cooker.

And the winner of Big Brother USA 2021 is........XAVIER. No real surprise there, most saw it coming long before now.

The hat-trick is complete, Xavier joins Ty from Canada and Marley from Australia on the winners podium.

Sums up this season, good start and middle, and an endgame which just fizzled out and became so predictable. Xavier was never in real danger was he.

Oh yes, and as for America's Favourite Player which was always between Tiffany and Derek X, it is TIFFANY who takes the spoils. She'll be back for sure along with Derek X if there ever is another All Stars.

And so the curtain comes down on USA for another year, and a small breather now until November when we head back Down Under

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 34 - Final 4: Veto ceremony and Eviction

Hard to know what to say really, as we head into a not so live Veto ceremony, and then seeing who will end up finishing 4th place.

If as expected Veto winner and soon to be grand prize winner, Xavier, does not use the Veto then it's going to be up to Derek Dolittle for the casting vote.

Seriously DD, just a revolting thought that he could end up being in one of those final 2 seats next Wednesday when he has done NOTHING all season.

If not for the Cookout, he would have been out long before jury started

His claims to fame for him are:

Naming the Cookout

Bringing the said alliance together

Others saying he is a comp beast

Thinking he's got a final 2 seat all wrapped up already

Hell, the list is endless, those above are just a small sample when back on planet Earth his resume coming up to finale night is blank. No comp wins, constantly whining when something doesn't go his way....Need I go on?

As for the season as a whole, good start and middle, unfortunately the endgame has become predictable and flat. I'm glad history has been and will be made, but once the novelty of the history making wore off, it was back down to earth with a thud. History will be made, but at what cost.....

Dilemma for Dolittle, yeah right... We know who is going, it's the usual giving the person most in danger a slim hope edit

Jury segment

Here's Tiff, and we see her exit replayed and rinse and repeat with Hannah as well. Very interesting conversation where Tiff more or less admits to the Cookout alliance and the master plan. Lots of congrats all round, and opinions that she should have won.

Much like social media, the jury not happy Azah AND Kyland dropping the ball big time during the second double eviction when they should have sent Xavier packing as soon as they could.

Veto ceremony

Xavier chooses not to use the Power of Veto, so it will be Kyland or Azah leaving in 4th place and as stated already, Derek Dolittle gets the casting vote.

Barring a major calamity during the final 3 HoH, Xavier has got this season all wrapped up

Hang on, what's this? Kyland and Xavier with a few heated words when Kyland brings up some of Xavier's relations outside, and nearly coming to blows before Julie gets really stern shouting at Kyland to get out of the house. Most drama we've had all season. It only took 60-70 days, but finally SOME drama.

Friday's episode is going to be messages from home and some season, and Sunday is looking like being nailed on for the season recap and the start of the Final HoH.

3 shows left of this season, and I can't wait for it to be over with and have a little breather before we head Down Under again for BBAU VIP

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 33 - Final 4: Final Veto of the season

Once more unto the breach and a MUCH later start for us UK viewers as in 3am, as we head into the final Veto comp of the season, and a very crucial one

All the power for the week up for grabs, as the Veto winner will join current HoH Xavier on finale night or Xavier could just win and keep the noms the same, but at a cost with Derek Dolittle (get it?) having the casting vote to evict Kyland or Azah.

What I would give to see Derek Dolittle on the block and gone, as there is a real danger he could get to final 2, one of those many times lately for bad feeling, the current one being Xavier is going to slip up on finale night, and we get the 'pleasure', and I use that term very loosely, of two people who have done very little all the way through this season sitting in those final 2 seats.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the 6 history makers in that there is finally going to be a civilian black winner on the USA version, but at what cost though. We've already lost Tiff and Hannah, and it just feels like all the remaining life has been sucked out of this season, and a very flat ending is in store no matter who takes the grand prize next week

Xavier nailed on to win the whole thing in a week's time barring a major slip up on finale night, Derek and Azah done nothing all season and Kyland probably about to head out the door in 4th place if he doesn't win the Veto.

Doubt if there will be anything to write about apart from the Veto comp and ceremony tonight, if there is a ceremony of course if the show doesn't leave us on a cliffhanger

And who knows what the Friday show is about this week before the inevitable season recap on Sunday which I don't usually cover

So let's see what we can rustle up in this episode before we see tomorrow who leaves in 4th place....

And already Derek Dolittle saying to Azah he has made final 2 deals with Kyland and Xavier, god this layabout before the Veto has even started. But hold on, he's now cancelled his deal with Kyland, as he wants to explore his options after the Veto

Pointless segment in which it's Xavier saying how Kyland is deep smelling stuff, yes they really are that low on content

In case you missed it, Xavier won the right to watch a sneak preview of the CSI Vegas premiere episode when he won HoH, and he can take someone with him and he picks Azah.

Veto comp 

Mix of a memory and physical comp

Premise: Figure out what day what event happened, and take the correct balls that add up to the total over the seesaw into the box at the end of the seesaw. If they fall, or the balls fall out of the box, then they have to start over. Last person to get the answer gets a strike, two strikes equal elimination

Azah

Derek

Xavier wins the final Veto of the season, therefore soaking up all the power before finale night

Cliffhanger alert, veto ceremony live on the next episode although seems pointless as Kyland is the hot favourite to finish 4th

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 32 - Final 4: HoH and Nominations

And then there were 4 as the finish line gets closer and we start on the road to finding out who will fall at the last hurdle before finale night

A rather sombre final straight I may add as the sequel Double Eviction claimed two big casualties in Tiff and Hannah, with Azah the last remaining female against the trio of Kyland, Xavier and Derek F.

To say that second double was a disaster would be a bit of an understatement, Azah with a big chance to put a marker down for her own chances, makes a bit of a pig's ear of her one and probably only comp when she won the DE2 HoH comp, and then Kyland all but gifting Xavier the game by taking him off the chopping block with the Veto.

Xavier and Kyland the two biggest threats, well they are going to have NO trouble sweeping the other two aside as the mentioned other two in Azah and Derek F have done nothing all season long. Prediction not spoiler by the way. Looking at social media, there was a sense of resignation in the air that Xavier has this all but wrapped up now.

Like I said in the last recap, how did it go from so happy from the history making last to so downbeat to see the two people who made the most effort in this alliance get their marching orders while the coat-tailers stay in there.

Sorry, not much to talk about as Act One is just the double replayed.....

Some dissension in the ranks as we come back from commercial, with Kyland getting on the radar in terms of saving Xavier from the block. Derek Do Nothing thinks he deserves a spot in final 2. Think the words are 'no chance in hell', but there is a real danger looking at the other side of the coin that he may get there.

As outgoing HoH from the DE comps, Azah is not eligible to compete

Crossover alert as the comp is based on the new incoming CSI series, and the comp is called BB Lab

The winner is guaranteed finale night, and also a sneak preview of the first episode of the new CSI series.

Premise: Houseguests have to find 5 clues and match the evidence to the suspects ID and press their buzzer. Fastest houseguest wins.

*Sigh*, Xavier's victory procession continues as he becomes the new HoH, and gets to watch that first CSI episode. Disappointment runs through the house from the other guys, and now it's REALLY dawning on Azah she may have made a fatal error with her nominations. But remember the Veto is the REAL power this week with only 4 left.

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 31 - Final 6: Double Eviction 2

The final 6 become the final 4.... 

This time last week it was celebrations and history making, now the mood is now a bit more downbeat as we prepare to say goodbye to Tiffany in the first eviction of the evening

Despite a last minute pitch from Tiff, Kyland did NOT use the Veto and now she is staring down the barrel of the first eviction of this episode.

So much pressure on Azah and Hannah even though they don't know it yet, well more on Hannah as I don't have much faith in Azah to win the DE2 HoH or Veto. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the boys swept the board tonight, and sent Hannah to jury in the second eviction.

Then it's straight back to action tomorrow in Episode 32 for the final 4 HoH and nominations, due to no Sunday show as it is Emmys night

Small post Veto stuff first - check... Sad piano music as we all know what's coming in Tiff going first and we have the usual 'Tiff's got a chance of staying, honest'

Oh boy, that first segment was long, but now to Sarah Beth's arrival at the jury house. Flashbacks to Tiff winning HoH, the coin of destiny flip, Hannah winning Veto and then SB's eviction. Finally the old coinage descends in terms of the Cookout.

Claire pitches up to the jury house and Alyssa as well..... No more shock now, they knew who was coming now they have all but put the pieces together.

Flashbacks to last week's history making double now, you know it's hard to watch seeing how happy it was and then fast forward a week and it's so downbeat.

Right, time to say goodbye to Tiff, looking at social media a lot of tuning out and resignation that Xavier is going to win it all in a few weeks

Basically bowling, as the houseguests have to knock 12 silver balls to the floor and it's in two rounds. First two to do so, advance to the final round

So the winner of round 2, will win the DE HoH

And the two to advance to the finals, XAVIER and AZAH

For the final round, the balls have to be rolled back on their respective patches of grass. Winner is DE HoH

And the winner is AZAH, who wins her first comp. But it does seem Xavier threw that, will know more in the next episode I hope.

Evicted houseguests saying stuff with one word bleeped out, and it's a points game. Highest scoring houseguest wins.

And guess what, Hannah didn't win. The winner is sadly KYLAND, via a tiebreak question. Dam it, Hannah's fate is sealed.

Kyland uses the Veto on Xavier, honestly I'm so drained now. The dummy has just handed the game to Xavier on a silver plate. Just no words....honest I haven't got the energy.

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 30 - Final 6: Power of Veto

The Cookout may have achieved their mission, but it has come at a cost post-celebrations

Kyland won the HoH, I know lucky us, and to compound things puts up one of the people's favourites in Tiffany, along with Hannah.

Definite battle of the sexes as Xavier and Derek F have been whining constantly and coasting along in this alliance about the women. Seriously, what is Derek F or should that be Derek Do Nothing as that is exactly what he has done in nothing, zilch, nada, done apart from naming the alliance. What a revolting thought it is that he actually could be sitting in one of those final 2 chairs on 29 September.

Oh look, Derek Do Nothing is celebrating Tiff being on the block. At least she's done more than you, Derek, and without complaint if she doesn't win a comp.

You get the impression Derek is enjoying this a bit too much in terms of the ladies being on the block....

It's all but confirmed in the house now, so no cause for argument. Boys v Girls, sadly Tiff knows she is the target and a goner unless she wins the Veto.

No picks from this point as there are only 6 left so everyone plays tonight and at final 4 next week. 

Tonight sees the final round of the BB Comics comps, unless there's a few more in the DE comps in the next episode of course.

A old favourite I may add, as in get on a zipline and go past a window to see the correct layout of comics and remember every detail, then put them in order and with every detail. 40 minute time limit, and the fastest player wins the Veto

I just can't with these smug boys, they are so certain they are heading to final 3 but unfortunately they may just be right. I mean it seems certain now Tiff is out first in the 2nd DE, so all pressure on Hannah and Azah, although I don't really rate Azah's chances too much so all intents and purposes more pressure on Hannah.

And as expected and despite a last minute pitch from Tiff, Kyland does not use the Veto and it will be Tiff or Hannah guaranteed out first in the next episode. More likely Tiff, as she is Kyland's target.

So we move on to the second of the two double evictions, where as last week it's a whole week of Big Brother in one night. As in HoH, Noms, Veto, Veto ceremony and eviction.

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 29 - Final 6 HoH and Nominations

 Another small step closer to the end, and it's an historic final 6 we see before us....

For the first time ever, it's an all PoC final 6 in the Cookout. Records broken all over the place and not just in this season I may add

Not sure if it's been mentioned but 3 black civilian winners in a calendar year for the english speaking Big Brother versions

And the Cookout in final 6 guarantees a first ever black civilian winner for USA. Truly a unique year for English speaking Big Brother.

And so we move into the final stretch for this particular series with The Cookout coming out on top after the expected double eviction of Claire and Alyssa, and another double looming on the horizon. Every houseguest for themselves now well and truly on.....or is it?

Have a feeling this is going to turn into a battle of the sexes, given how two of the 3 remaining guys have been whining about not winning comps and about other things. I wouldn't trust these 3 guys left to open a tin of sardines that wasn't already half open.

History making celebrations as it should be, but as usual the men are being as described above. Apart from naming the alliance, what the eff has Derek F done for the alliance.....Answers on a postcard please

Kyland still fuming at Hannah for breaking her promise about not putting him on the block on double eviction, he may say it's ok but it's not for him. 'How dare she put me on the block' are the words that spring to mind straight away.

And as Julie mentioned in the previous episode, all the comps this coming week are going to be BB Comic week based.

It's the usual move an egg from inside a cage challenge, only this time once they get an egg out of the coop they have to roll it down a ramp and knock down the three levers. First to do so wins HoH.

Worst luck, Kyland wins HoH. First blood to the guys unfortunately this week, but there's still the Veto to come and the 2nd part of the incoming double

Derek F with the whining straight away, less said the better. Our poor ears as he goes on and on and on like Ariston in the Diary Room

Tiff seems to be Kyland's target, and with Hannah's move in the first double eviction I sense trouble for her. Revenge is a dish and all that, it's very cold in the Big Brother house.

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 28 - Double Eviction

 All pressure on Alyssa tonight, as Claire is all but certain to be out first as Tiff's latest HoH reign comes to an end in this episode, and the Cookout start to get dismantled or they complete their objective as another one follows Claire out the door, with it being DOUBLE EVICTION night, with another double hot on the heels of this one next week.

In case you don't know it's a whole week of Big Brother in one night when a double eviction rolls around.

Once Claire is gone then it's straight into an HoH comp, then nominations followed by Power of Veto, Veto ceremony and then another eviction vote to get the second person out the door.

A lot of people scared Tiff may go in the second eviction of the episode, to be fair she did make a bit of a howler not telling Claire about the Cookout but that's just the edit. Most can see why she didn't, and what the cause is for the Cookout, but would it have hurt Tiff just to let Claire know about the alliance before Claire goes.

Floods of tears from Claire to end the Veto episode, but it's understandable. But jeez, does anybody else really want to punch Xavier in the mouth, throwing his toys out of the pram just because Tiff won HoH, and then Xavier chortling away when Alyssa won Veto which ended up putting Tiff on the spot. Seriously I do hope he goes second, as if Tiff goes second tonight it's going to be VERY hard to stop Xavier or Kyland winning the whole season

As expected, bye bye Claire by a vote of 4-1. No words really necessary as we knew she was going first anyway

As outgoing HoH, Tiff is not eligible to play in this one

Houseguest will be shown comic book words in various images, and will be asked questions about them. The highest scoring houseguest at the end of 7 rounds will be the DE HoH

And we have a winner and it's, drum roll maestro, HANNAH. Now let's see who she nominates....

Nominations are XAVIER and ALYSSA, so it's all down to the Veto for Alyssa

Veto players: Xavier, Hannah, Alyssa, Tiff, Derek F and Azah

Build a 7 piece puzzle and push the buzzer. That's it, that's the comp. First to do so wins the Veto

Xavier wins the Veto, and that is Alyssa's goose effectively cooked. Mission accomplished for the Cookout, first ever PoC final 6 in North American Big Brother.

No shock, Xavier uses the Veto on himself, and Hannah names Kyland as the replacement

No shock, Alyssa is gone. Not going to bother with the result but congratulations to the Cookout, first ever black final 6 and also the Cookout is now guaranteed to win this season and the USA version guaranteed it's first ever civilian black winner.

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 27 - Zingbot and Power of Veto

 That time of the series again where a certain someone comes into the house, and makes fun of the remaining houseguests, oh and there's a Veto to play for as well

Tiffany, as the current HoH has nominated Alyssa and Xavier, but it seems certain that with this first of two double evictions looming, the remaining non Cookout members in Alyssa and Claire will be out the door, and then it's the usual business of the alliance picking each other off until the last one left standing takes home the grand prize

Tiff says Alyssa is her target, and has to choose between her alliance or Claire if Alyssa wins Veto and takes herself off the block. 

Xavier acting like 'Oh how dare Tiff go into business for herself', has he not noticed the season is nearly over and it should be every houseguest for themselves... This guy is nuts, and him and Derek F(loater) need to go. Xavier is seriously considering saving Alyssa just to spite Tiffany, put your toys back in the pram, pal.

Veto picks

Joining Tiff, Alyssa and Xavier in this comp will be Azah, Derek F and Hannah

And heeeeeeeeeeeere's Zingbot.....

Alyssa: From Sunshine State, considering you are so dim, to be clear I'm calling you dumb

Xavier: I'm gonna reveal your secret, you have a crush, all season long you've been admiring them- oh wait that's just your reflection

Claire: Oh my god, nobody move, we're in danger. I spotted bigfoot, my bad that's just Claire

Hannah: HGs, I have a joke.... Knock knock who's there, Hannah, Hannah who? Exactly....

Derek F: You've made a mark on the house this summer, too bad it's in the toilet

As robot, I can predict the future. The never things will never happen: time travel, teleporting... Xavier going on a date with Azah 

Kyland: Listening to you talk is like listening to *inaudible* STFU

And we are off for the Veto comp which the mini comp as in stacking very small objects, first to do so without the stack falling over wins the Veto

Alyssa gets a temporary reprieve from the block as she wins the Veto, which she will no doubt use on herself. No prizes for guessing who will go on the block in her place.

Xavier, meanwhile, is laughing away in the Diary Room at Tiff's 'predicament' when it's patently obvious who Tiff will name as replacement

Oh come on, we all know who Tiff is going to put up. But a big lie emerges when Tiff does NOT tell Claire about the Cookout, which could cost her 100's of thousand of dollars. Basically Tiff is lying to Claire's face. Would it have been so bad to tell Claire about the Cookout. Well done Tiff, you just lost the game there and then.

Due credit to Claire though, she took that a lot better than I would have despite the floods of tears.

Veto ceremony

To perhaps no surprise, Alyssa uses the Veto on herself, and Tiff names Claire as the replacement. Tiff has effectively put the final nail in her coffin with that move, and the grand prize moves even further away. Think we better start bracing for Kyland or Xavier to win in a few weeks

And so we move to another pointless eviction in Episode 28 as we inevitably say goodbye to Claire, and then it's probably bye bye Alyssa if she doesn't win the DE HoH or Veto

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 26 - HoH conclusion and Nominations

 The Cookout continuing to run things in the shadows, with Sarah Beth their latest victim as she was the latest to move to the jury house.

Little do they know what's coming their way, we know something that they don't as in two double evictions back to back. Remember not long to go now, and although it does seem the pieces are finally being put together in the jury house about the Cookout, it does look likely that one of that particular alliance IS going to win the whole thing in a few weeks.

So, back to current proceedings and when we last left the remaining few, the next HoH comp had started and it's endurance. Already two casualties in Derek F and Alyssa.....

HoH comp conclusion

In case you missed it, NOT the slip and slide most expected but the all too familiar twirly whirly one where there's a high possibility of crashing into something. Basically hang on for dear life, and last one standing on their disc wins. That is all apart from Claire as she is the outgoing secret HoH. If she wins, then she will be exposed as secret HoH and the person finishing second wins, so she basically has to throw it. First three to fall will be Have Nots for the week.

Kyland

Tiffany is back on her throne as HoH, and it will be a longer stay this time with no twist incoming this time.

Bigger cracks appearing in the Cookout as some of them are really put out with Tiff winning, and I for one don't see a problem with her winning. She's got her eye on the prize.

Post competition, tears from Alyssa and probably some of the viewers as well. Our only hope of stopping a Cookout HoH... Ah well that's the way the ice cube crumbles I suppose.

Upcoming contender Hannah continues to go under the radar, as she should be. Let the others pick each other off and before they know it she is in one of the Final 2 chairs

Xavier complains about Tiff and Kyland going into business for themselves, boy oh boy the civil war is brewing at last. Oh look, Derek complaining AGAIN.

A short while later, Xavier and Derek are still at it. I mean seriously, does Derek F know what show he signed up for.... Here's a hint, pal, win something. Stop whining and complaining when things don't go your way. You aren't endearing yourself to anyone in there or out here.

Nominations ceremony

Tiff nominates Xavier and Alyssa. No surprises there I suppose. Wonder who will get sent to jury if she doesn't win Veto. Tiff says she is here to win the grand prize, sounds like she's ready to go it alone now. 

And that's proceedings over for another episode, and in Episode 27 guess who's back. Yes it's Zingbot, and of course there is another Veto to contest

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 25 - Eviction (SB v Kyland) and HoH begins

Another week almost down, and I have absolutely no idea how this HoH is going to be done, will Claire have to be outed as secret HoH? Will everyone get to play? Guess we'll have to find out when Julie goes to the house at the end of the show

In the meantime:

Hannah continues to emerge as a contender as she basically tricks Claire into playing for the secret HoH, and later in the week Hannah won Veto.

Nice little pattern there, sort of a Derek X revenge tour as Tiff initially won HoH, lost it to Claire who kept nominations the same anyway, then Hannah won the Veto

Veto was used on Xavier, so no replacement was needed. A straight shootout between Kyland and SB. Although there does seem to be a little dissension in the Cookout ranks, as Kyland was pitching really hard for the Veto to be used on him, something which didn't go down well with Tiffany but she has his card marked for a later time if things go her way soon. Her target is still SB for tonight, and it does kind of seem inevitable.

Some would say karma for SB's lousy attitude during her HoH that she basically handed over to Kyland, I mean everyone called it that she would be on the chopping block and possibly leaving for jury this week. If/When that happens, Claire and Alyssa really do need to put the remaining pieces together and win both the HoH and Veto this coming week as they must be kind of aware they will be next two out.

And woohoo, our first visit to the jury house and we get to see Brit and Derek X

Pointless filler alert, as the kitchen caught fire as everyone was distracted by Hannah falling out of the hammock and hitting her head on the floor. Nothing serious in terms of Hannah, as she is moving about. 

Just been so easy for the Cookout this season, numbers in jury when they eventually start going there

But then again there is that triple coming up, if the rumours are true of course. 7 to 4 in two hours.

Jury segment

The pieces finally falling into place for Brit and Derek X about the Cookout, but in my honest opinion all this is going to be for nothing if it's a Cookout final 3 or 4.

Eviction vote

Pointless pleas, remember what Tiff wants, Tiff gets. This is a lost cause.

Xavier - SB

Claire would have evicted SB, so wouldn't have made any difference

HoH comp

The all too familiar spinning endurance one, where they are crashing into all sorts of things and having all sorts thrown at them while spinning round.

Claire is eligible to play but can't win so has to throw it, if that makes sense. If she doesn't throw it, then second place wins. First three to fall will be the Have Not's for the week, last houseguest standing if it's not Claire, will be the new HoH

Essentially Alyssa against the Cookout, and got to pray it's Alyssa or this could be a very long and predictable week

And as I say that, Alyssa is out so Cookout guaranteed to win this HoH, and Julie announces TWO double evictions over two weeks. Frustrating as we know which two will be out next week, and then it's the usual major alliance picking each other off.

Comp to be concluded in Episode 26, as we take another huge step closer to the end of this season and by god it has really flown by.

Big Brother USA 2021 - Episode 24 - Power of Veto

Pinch Punch first day of the month and all that

Another step closer to finding out who the third jury member will be, as we head into another Veto episode

When we last left our remaining houseguests, Tiffany announced her nominations to be Sarah Beth and Kyland, well that lasted a little while before the (thankfully) final High Rollers twist kicked in.

So you know what confusing, well anyway it went something like this. It was basically roll three coins into three holes, and the fastest would advance to the coin toss that would decide if Tiff's HoH would come to an abrupt end, and with that change the nominations and possibly change the replacement for the Veto competition if the situation would arise

Claire emerged victorious in the preliminary competition and then would go on to win the coin toss and take over from Tiff, however it would turn out to be an anonymous HoH so Claire's nominations and a possible Veto replacement would remain secret.

However it turned out that Claire kept the nominations the same, so nothing really changed pre Veto

Think that's about the size of it....

Hannah continued to pull the strings in the background, whispering to Tiff that Claire win the CoD so Claire can't play the next HoH, in this episode now it's just dawning on Claire she may have made a mistake. Keep your eye on this girl, she is really emerging as a contender.

Now we have SB crying again..... Less said the better and the words, "You only have yourself to blame" immediately spring to mind

Veto picks and competition

Joining Kyland, Sarah and Xavier in this week's competition are Hannah, Claire and Alyssa

Added incentive of the Veto winner watching an advanced screening of a movie with 3 other houseguests, that movie being Dear Evan Hansen.

Quite simply, put high school pics of evicted houseguests in chronological order according to details, fastest houseguest wins the Veto

And the honour of Veto winner this week is HANNAH, not the best competition ever I may add. That was a chore to sit through.

Hannah chooses Kyland, SB and Xavier for the movie screening, Derek Do Nothing not too pleased that he wasn't picked.

Kyland now pitching hard for the Veto being used on him, something that is not going down well with his secret Cookout members. Think we know which Cookout member will be going first. Apparently a double or triple coming soon, just a question of who will leave with Kyland when that time comes.

Hannah has decided to use the Veto on Xavier, so no replacement is needed as Xavier wasn't nominated as it was part of his three punishments.

Sarah Beth or Kyland definitely juror #3, and it is difficult to call as both of them are so loathed on social media, I don't think people will mind who actually goes in Episode 25
