Another small step towards the end we go, and tonight sees Jermaine leave the house. We will also see letters from home, or at least some of them anyway and the main subject of the episode in some of them rounding on Hardeep.
Lights on in the house and off we go for a brand new day, and Big Brother is telling them to rise and shine.
Kirstie, Gabby and Sally are cleaning the kitchen, and there are some complaints about how filthy it is as there is food wastage all over the worktop. Sally is particularly vocal and insinuates Hardeep is being lazy.
Next up, everyone has been gathered around the dining table for today's task. Here's how it will work:
Big Brother challenges them to maintain a positive and professional image for the rest of the day. This will involve no swearing, no negativity towards each other, they are encouraged to give compliments to each other and just generally remain upbeat at all times. If they do this to Big Brother's satisfaction, then housemates will win a party for later in the evening.
The task begins almost immediately and they all start being 'nice' to each other, even if some of them do show it through gritted teeth.
Gabby says she stubbed her toe coming out of the bathroom with a big smile on her face, but remember they have to be nice as per the task
Hardeep is summoned to the Diary Room, and as part of today's task is given some accessories to put on his beard. We see some short clips where he walks around the house showing these accessories off to the other housemates. Remember, the housemates have to be nice.
Kirstie, meanwhile, has to 'endorse' a certain type of face mask which is made up of cheeses. Big Brother says she must tell everyone else how she would recommend the face mask to them.Think you get the picture by now that they have to be nice
Jermaine has to 'endorse' an aftershave called 'foreplay' which is made up of fish sauce, and he has to wear it throughout the day.
In the garden Ryan, Dan and Jermaine are feeling a little unwell. Enter Hardeep who is suggesting chicken for dinner. Hardeep insists he has cooked the chicken properly, and says it is something viral affecting the other 3. Hardeep is hammering the chicken in the kitchen.
Time for letters from home, and Sally is given the task of finding the housemates letters from home.
12 sealed boxes, letters from home, just one question, Letters or no Letters. 8 of the boxes contain letters, 4 letters contain red X's. If Sally finds 3 of the X's, all the letters she has found will be lost automatically and this part of the task is failed. Who are we kidding, we know they will get their letters anyway at a later time even if they don't get them in this task, and if they are still in there near the end.

All letters lost, but we know they won't be....
Sally says she feels dreadful, and wants to do something to make sure they do get the letters
Surely if these people have watched this show before, they WILL get their letters. Chill out housemates, it's not the end of the world.
And as if by magic, Big Brother conjures something else up to make sure some of them get their letters. Housemates have to pitch their own suggestion to which 3 housemates should get their letters.
Of course Ryan is picked to no great surprise, Dan's name crops up as well along with Gabby so they are the 3 names who will receive their letters
And the usual flood of tears as the 3 letters are read out, they've been on longer holidays than this and will be seeing these people anyway in a few days time if not sooner.
Can't say I agree with Dan being chosen, he has really respected his wife and kids hasn't he by constantly flirting with Gabby in there. Ryan was no shock as there are still shockwaves around THAT 'incident', and Gabby is just there really and not done anything of note.
Party time as they have passed the task, little do they know they are about to be crashed by a very familiar voice
They are allowed to hear the RYAN chants as Jermaine is announced as evicted, as outside contact has been minimal this series, I am prepared to let this one slide so moving swiftly on......
Hardeep is the talk of the house, as Sally points out she wouldn't want to be up against him in a public vote. Dan complains that Hardeep apparently doesn't care and doesn't even want to be in there and he apparently doesn't give a shit that Jermaine is gone. You shouldn't even be in there at all, pal, and don't forget if you are missing Jacqueline and the kids so much why aren't you out there with them, you know trying to save your marriage, and not flirting every chance you get with Gabby.
In the bedroom, Sally and Ryan are talking about Hardeep, who else......She is basically telling Ryan about Hardeep's earlier comment about her bunions, something which Ryan takes literally as 'disrespectful'
At this point, Ryan storms off unnecessarily to Hardeep to confront him about said comment and accuses Hardeep of being 'disrespectful'. Ryan has let that chanting go to his head, and he above all should know the dangers of labels in that house as he just had a shedload of them to deal with. Could he throw it all away at the death?
He seems to be throwing it away as he is really laying into Hardeep over something really trivial

Final thoughts
Ryan undoing all that sympathy in a matter of minutes with Hardeep. Has he forgotten that the mob's reaction means diddly squat as that's only a very small portion of the audience out there in the compound. May have done his chances of winning a lot of damage and really needs to button it. Hardeep is still there, so he must be doing something right although he does tend to go up against people more loathed. Will be interesting to see what these killer nominations will rustle up as it's obvious Hardeep will be on the block AGAIN, just a matter of seeing who will join him.
