In case you missed it today, Five have decided to part company with Big Brother UK. More in final thoughts
14 final civilians will go through the doors tonight, and it's survival of the fittest as we have been promised a much harder show for the housemates, and one housemate will be given an advantage tonight as the masses have been voting in a poll to see who will get said advantage.
So over to you and Emma, and on a personal note I do feel sorry for her and Rylan as like the rest of us they only found out today that this is the final series on the channel
Usual whoop whoops from the crowd, something I won't miss after this series, and first up it's the final house tour
53 days long, and Emma does give a passionate speech as sort of an eff you to Five
But enough of that, let's bring on our contestants....
Housemates
Cian, 23, County Tipperary....A gay farmer. He's straight in there and at the booze already. Could be fun but could speak a little slower.
Anamelia, 31, Brazil.....Spiritual Advisor. Hopefully nothing like Kaitlyn from BB20, if she starts annoying the housemates with the spiritual stuff she could be out very quickly.
Lewis, 27, Stockton on Tees.....Bartender. Token fittie for the ladies I would say. Will probably get to the end on the basis that 'e iz well fit innit'
Kenaley, 23, Nottingham.....Telesales agent. Looks like she is going to be a livewire, could be a gobby one. We'll have to wait and see
Tomasz, 31, Poland.....Cleaner. Cross dresser, says he will not be afraid to throw people under the bus when he goes in. Could be one to watch, but he may struggle with the more physical tasks.
Cameron, 18, Norwich.....Vlogger. Describes himself as competitive. Single young lad, and says he does want to win. He'll probably walk or be there until about 2 weeks to the end.
Sian, 24, Barnsley.....Waitress. Part time model, and now works in a cafe. Describes herself as a girly girl. You just know she's going to be loud in there. Paid £4,000 for her breasts. Showmance with Lewis, perhaps?
Ellis, 19, Glasgow.....Fast food worker. 4 foot 8, and says she is unintentionally funny. Doesn't like people who talk about others behind their back. Potential first out, but then again could surprise us.
Isaac, 23, Suffolk. Former semi pro footballer. Used to play for Ipswich Town, bit full of himself. Hopefully not another Jermaine, we'll have to wait and see.
Brooke, 21, London. Graphic Designer. Blogger about Buddhism, not the religion. More like the order of the universe. She's a lesbian, and single.
Akeem, 26, Rhondda Valley. Training Consultant. Says he won't turn down a task or a challenge, and thinks he will bring the public what they want. Status: In a relationship for 6 years.
Kay, 32, London. Artist. Her mum's Russian, and her Dad's Georgian. Says she is creative and eccentric. Phallic art interest, and likes dressing up as 'a boy from the hood'. Another contender for first out.
Zoe, 31, Halifax. Carer. Her saying is 'be you, do you, own you'. Mum to an 11 year old son with special needs, this won't go down too well with some I think.
Lewis G, 25, London. Bricklayer. Jack the lad, so very full of himself. Will be looking for a showmance. Definitely an early exit for him, or he's going to get kicked out. Can't see Big Brother putting up with him for too long.
This week's Big Brother from the Batcave's Bellend of the week award goes to LEWIS G
Here we go for the twist, and it's SIAN who has got this advantage
Big coins from the bank of Big Brother are in front of Sian in the Diary Room, each housemate will get a bag of these coins with their name on. Sian will shortly read out the instructions. No nominations, instead the three housemates with fewest Big coins on Friday will face the public vote. Hopefully this will get clearer as time goes on.
To be continued on Sunday in Episode 2
Final thoughts
Very intriguing bunch of housemates, and from all four parts of the country and also regular jobs. Not all this 'look at me I've been on reality TV before' type of housemate. Probably one or two of them may have agents, but as long as we don't have a houseful of them so much the better. Please, casual viewers, just give them a chance if they are not drunk or fighting amongst themselves within a few days.
Just a shame that Mr. Frow decided to drop the axe and put a dampener on things before this series even started. I really hope for his sake he leaves things alone, and doesn't decide to stick his nose into this series and do irreparable damage to the product.
BBUK fans will not go quietly into the night, and as long the bloggers, fansites and podcasters and the true fans have a breath left, BBUK will never die. Finally free of this channel and hopefully on to a channel which will give the show and fans the respect it deserves.
Big Brother Radio will be on the air straight after the launch with special guest, Series 11 housemate Mario Mugan. Come in and join the fun if you wish, and the show can be found right here
BB on Blast will be dropping a new podcast as well, and if you missed the finale for CBB, look no further than here
And if you want to follow this last series on Five, come and join me and many others on the Digital Spy Big Brother forum, and you will be made very welcome
Keep those RT's, shares, likes and comments coming in, and follow me on Twitter at richiew4ever
Until next time, stay frosty and keep on rocking.....
