When last we left the houseguests:
- Sam and Kaycee recieved punishments for finishing last in their respective competitions
- To cut a long story short, Sam has been 'transformed' into a robot but can be human when 'Robot Offline' is played into the house
- While Kaycee has to wear the 'pinwheel of doom' in which when the pinwheel starts turning she has to stay in the room she is in until the wheel stops spinning
- In other news, Chris (Swaggy C) won the overall competition and chose to keep himself, Angie, Brett, Faysal, Haleigh, Kaycee, Rachel and Scottie immune from the first eviction
And now onto the present....
Swaggy says the game has officially started and saving Angela was not in his best interests, while Angela says he is lucky to be safe this week as she knows who her target would be if she won HoH
Robot Sam says its harder to make connections in robot mode....Well, duh
Rachel says life in the BB house is pretty good, she gets to hang out with her friends, chill by the pool, work on her tan and flirt with the boys
Kaitlyn holds a meditation class and a creep third eye appears on her forehead, a lot of special effects and spiritual music ensue.
'Robot offline' sounds to some cheers and we finally see human Sam
Haleigh says Chris kept her safe this week, and feels she can put her trust with him at this early stage.
Her and Chris agree they both like Kaitlyn, and enter Angie to which Haleigh says she (Angie) is the most favourite person to walk into a room.
In walks Kaitlyn, to which Chris says the four there are solid and so is Faysal...We have our first alliance which is called "The Five"
Kaitlyn said she likes the alliance,but she is the only one not safe this coming week and so she has to win the HoH this week to make sure she and the new alliance are good
HoH competition
The first HoH competition is called Microchip Mayhem, and here is how it works. The eight houseguests who are not immune have to go across balance beams, grab a "deleted chip" (ball), run back along a platform and drop it in the tube of another player. A full tube eliminates a player, and last houseguest standing is the winner
Eliminations in order - Sam, Steve, Kaitlyn, Winston, Angela, JC, Bayleigh
Winner and first HoH of the season - TYLER
Kaitlyn decides Angela has to go as "she (Angela) has to go as she has proven that she is very good at physical competitions".....You're not HoH, Kaitlyn, so your opinion doesn't mean too much right now.
Sam is getting tearful as she feels a bit isolated and shunned. Rachel tells her not to count herself out
Tyler says he is not fooled by Bayleigh's little apology as in her snapping at him in the HoH competition
Winston pitches an alliance of himself, Brett, Tyler, JC, Kaycee and Angela. He then proceeds to the HoH room to pitch the idea to Tyler
'Robot Online' sounds so back to Sammy 5 we go, and when Sammy 5 emerges she asks Tyler to the pantry for a conversation, and campaigns to him about why she should not be nominated
Tyler says his heart is hurting and doesn't want to put a robot on the block
On a side note, it really is hard not to burst out laughing seeing those glasses on Angie
Nomination ceremony
At this point, Kaycee's pinwheel starts spinning in the backyard so she is stuck in the backyard as per the rules with the pinwheel
Nominated - Sam and Steve
Reason - They were first out of the HoH competition
And that's a wrap for this episode
Final thoughts - An ok episode, even if the nominations were a bit of a wimp out. Chris is not going to be in that house for long. However I am loving all this gameplay, and guess what, still no veterans have found their way in. There's been more gameplay in these first two episodes than there was in whole of Big Brother USA 2017.
