CBB UK Summer 2018 - Episode 9 - Chucking out time for Hardeep or Natalie

Greetings, citizens, and welcome to another episode with our summer celebrity housemates and we are already into Week 2

Introducing our nominees, in the red corner we have Hardeep 'The Cook' Singh Kohli, and in the blue corner, Natalie 'Motormouth' Nunn.

Let's get ready to eviiiiiiiiiict....

Usual whoop whoop from the live audience as Emma welcomes us in. She reads out the numbers to save either nominees, to which Hardeep gets a smattering of boos, but when Natalie's name is read out much louder boos around the compound. Personally I think she's sealed her own fate.

Obviously these boos will go up and down as they usually do on eviction night, but am glad it's not just booing for the sake of it. Some small chants of 'Get Natalie out' which don't catch on.

Tonight.....

We start with Rodrigo vacuuming, and Nick says it was a tough day, then he talks about his last few days in prison which were tough as well. Jermaine is checking himself out with Chloe's compact mirror, and Roxanne is shaving Rodrigo's back.

Jermaine has written a message to Chloe. Hope you were watching that, BB, clear breach of the rules right there, and Chloe should not be encouraging him. Jermaine, you rat, you are supposed to be a married man.

Roxanne is in the Diary Room, and saying she's feeling down. Her talk turns to Ben, and thinks people are gossiping about her friendship with Ben, and reminds us once again that she is engaged. Just tell him then, and put him in the friend zone, Roxanne. Respect your fiance's feelings

Rodrigo's salon is open for business, and his first client is Ryan....Won't be HIS salon for long, more on that in the final thoughts

Back to Emma, and she reminds us of the rules regarding the secret messages to which there will be a punishment over the weekend. She then calls a break.

Loving how the rulebook's existence is now being acknowledged instead of being ignored. Hopefully NONE of this turning hot water off and all appliances off for 30 seconds.

Kirstie is being taught ENGLISH english such as the C word, amongst other things, by some of the housemates.

And now ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to the Tree of Temptation's replacement, introducing Wendy the Washing Machine.

After introducing herself to Rodrigo, she gives him a secret task to collect some dirt from a fellow houseguest he knows the least, and then has to spill some cornflakes on the sheets. If he does this successfully then he will get some champagne and ice cream as a reward. He chooses Chloe. To the task, and Chloe says Jermaine said he liked her. Chloe should know better as well, and not be encouraging Jermaine. Not very fair on Jermaine's wife, if she is watching. However, I have my suspicions the wife will be thrown in for a future task, if he still there in the next few days.

Back to Wendy, and she tells him he has passed to which he gets his reward....Enjoy it while you can, Rodrigo, one of the last rewards you will be enjoying in there as you will soon find out.

Natalie tells us she is missing sex, too much information there Motormouth

Kirstie wants the lowdown on Ben's previous relationships, and he talks about, yet again, about his week long wedding and then the cheating afterwards. Kirstie hands out career advice about not getting distracted.

Back to Emma, and she reads out the numbers. This time, there are more cheers for Hardeep and the same big boos for Natalie. Emma calls a break.

Back to house action, and we get treated to some 'bed-hopping' game. Any betting Jermaine and Chloe will end up in the same bed, giving Big Brother some more ammunition to push this showmance which nobody wants. Hardeep does not join in as he is feeling more isolated, have a feeling he may walk soon if he survives this eviction and things don't improve.

Anyways, back to this game and Ryan is just laughing at anything in sight. Is this his only party trick, this is seriously the favourite to win right now? Can't see the attraction at all.

More cackling from Ryan, and as expected Jermaine and Chloe are paired together. They really should NOT be encouraging this, please respect his wife's feelings as he is certainly not right now.

More messages being exchanged between Jermaine and Chloe, while Natalie and Rodrigo gossip about Roxanne and Ben. Please don't let these showmances take over the show, Big Brother, you are doing so well. Don't take it back down the tacky Five crap route which has killed the show on this channel. Ryan is counselling Jermaine and telling him to be careful about how his business with Chloe will come across for the people watching. Bit late for that now, as people are making up their minds already out here.

Chloe has joined Natalie and Rodrigo in the pool room. Natalie points out about the blossoming showmance between Chloe and Jermaine. Rodrigo tells Chloe that Jermaine doesn't talk much about his relationship outside. He's a rat and not respecting his partner in the slightest.

Back to Emma, and another rundown of the numbers. Usual cheers for Hardeep and usual boos for Natalie. Think you are getting the picture now.

Natalie is in the hot tub, fishing for compliments. Too late to play Little Mary Sunshine now, Natalie. Hardeep feels sad about potentially being evicted and says his eviction will be less pronounced. It will be a much better atmosphere if she goes though, Hardeep. Chin up and shoulders back as my late Nanna Gwyn always used to tell me.

In the hot tub, Ben is getting relationship advice from some of the others. Ugh at the colour of that hot tub water by the way, back to Ben and he is being advised about his feelings for Roxanne. Another one that should not be encouraged, given Roxanne is spoken for in case you missed it the first time ;)

Voting is now closed, and yes I have gone forward a bit as these showmances don't really interest me at all and the sooner they are nipped in the bud the better.

After Emma has spoken to Rylan in the BOTS studio, it's eviction time and Emma makes her way to the studio away from the crowd. Another nice touch so the housemates can't hear the chanting from the crowd. Outside contact and all that, which seems to be being respected for the first time in a long time, at least for now.

And finally, the first evictee is revealed to be NATALIE. Common sense prevails, well done GBP. She was so certain she was staying, and lovely to see that smug smile wiped off her face. Exit to massive boos, and they are not even trying to hide the booing

In her interview with Emma, she basically claims she has done nothing wrong. Best bits and all that. Won't go into details, but let's just say what a big fake she is.

Emma plugs this weekends shopping task, which will entail viewer polls. More on this tomorrow, but I can promise it's not as bad as it sounds. Update: their punishment regarding the secret messages, is that they will be on basic budget if they pass and basic RATIONS if they fail. Again, more on this in more details in tomorrow's post

Breaking news today, Rodrigo has been removed after he failed to heed Big Brother's warning about unacceptable behaviour. Click on BBSpy's link on the right for more information

Final thoughts

Good riddance to Motormouth, and you very naughty boy Rodrigo. Hopefully now the house can have a better atmosphere now she is gone.

CBB UK Summer 2018 - Episode 8 - Nothing was stirring, not even BB

The day before eviction begins, and in case you missed it it's Natalie v Hardeep for the first public vote

She did not take it particularly well, acting like a diva because they dared nominated her, while Hardeep just went about his daily routine of house cook taking it much better than she did.

We start off with Kirstie inspecting the bedroom, and she asks if anyone wants any trash taking out. Sally asks why Kirstie is doing all the housework, to which Kirstie denies.

In the new pool room, which in case you missed yesterdays episode replaces the White House, Roxanne is telling Rodrigo that someone in there doesn't flush the toilet, then talks turns to different pronounciations of the word 'poo'. Toilet humour at its most crappest there I think.

Back in the bedroom, Natalie calls over Sally and tells her that this is hard for mums. Sally agrees, and then goes on to say she doesn't have many regrets in life, but if she has one she was not at home enough with her own kids.

In the garden, Hardeep makes a 'joke' about why is there no Anadin in the jungle, and the answer is as there is paracetamol. He is trying, bless him. Hope he doesn't go in the eviction, he can wait a few days I suppose.

In the bathroom, Natalie is being particular about her own space with Rodrigo. She has a snipe about Chloe not cleaning up after herself, and then bizarrely talks about Chloe posing for Page 3 and on the internet. Kirstie is also talking about the mess around the house. Hate to break it to her, but this is what most BBUK houses get like after a few days

Natalie goes back to talking about nominations, and says she will not stop kicking off. Sally tells her controlling an emotion is not fake.

Ryan is relaxing in the bathroom, is this guy going to do anything now he's not VP or is he going to float to the end and finish in the top four. Answers on a postcard please. Meanwhile the rest of the inmates are eating lunch, and Hardeep talks about supplies and how they should plan their meals for the next couple of days. I'm sure BB will give someone a nice easy something to do, so they can have some alcohol and some food.

Slight indication of Ben fancying Roxanne. Back away Ben, she is engaged, or didn't you get the memo. Meanwhile, Kirstie announces she wants to divide up the cleaning chores, and of course Natalie says she won't be cleaning up anyone else's mess except her own, and a short while later her voice goes up a few decibels as she tries to get her point across and not for the first time in this series.

She goes on to say about eye pencil sharpenings all over the floor, and then Rodrigo begins to think she is pointing the fingers, and then she shouts about the chairs being wet when she sits in them. Think you get the picture by now, so will leave it there.

She is going on and on and on and on....much like Ariston. Oh Natalie shut your mouth and get back in your box.

Still going on and now at Gabby and Chloe, making cheap threats and getting more aggressive. Come on BB, call her in and calm her down, and they finally do. She's laughing at her handiwork in the Diary Room, as BB remind her of the rules in regards to intimidating and aggressive behaviour. She's not even taking this reprimand seriously, and she makes fun of Chloe in a pathetic baby voice.

Dan checks on Chloe to make sure she's alright after the exchange with Natalie, and they share a hug. Rodrigo has taken offence to Natalie calling him two faced, but he was more than happy to be her lap dog for a little bit.

Kirstie admits she kissed Patrick Swayze, and wished she could have had an affair with him, but they were both married at the time. John Travolta's name is also dropped in, and she says she loved him.

After that Swayze conversation, Dan and Roxanne decide to try the famous Dirty Dancing lift

Natalie asks Chloe for a chat, and a somewhat forced apology. Anyone would think someone has had a word with Natalie in the Diary Room. Why is Sally in there and butting in, this has got nothing to do with her. Go away Sally!!!!

Back to this 'apology', and Natalie explains why she thinks Chloe should not be in the house. She more or less says Chloe is not a celebrity, and Natalie is? Natalie comes from a show that hardly anyone has heard of, and she has the gall to accuse Chloe of being a non-celebrity. Chloe fires back with Natalie is only arguing for airtime. Natalie responds by saying she doesn't care and she arrogantly says she is not going anywhere. Hope she does, just to see that smug smile wiped off her face.

And voila, here is the task for some more food. Won't go into too much details about this, other than basically Sally has find the truth about her fellow housemates hence the name of the game being Truth Hunter.

To cut a long story short, she does win and her prize is a big plate of her favourite food, jellied eels.

Pointless segment, moving swiftly on

Ben and Kirstie are having a sparring session, while Natalie and Gabby are having a discussion. Gabby says sorry to her for raising her voice. Don't see why they should walk on eggshells just to keep Motormouth happy.

Ben is gushing about Roxanne in the Diary Room, earth to Ben. SHE. IS. ENGAGED. What part of that don't you understand, pal

Back to Natalie again, and another forced apology to Chloe. She said she shouldn't have said what she did to Chloe earlier in that she shouldn't be there.

Does Dan know he is still married to Jacqueline as he continues to flirt with Gabby in the garden.

Natalie and Rodrigo back on speaking terms, and whispers galore about Ben and Roxanne. I can sense if Natalie goes, this is going to be the secondary storyline. Dan and Gabby next topic of discussion, less said the better. No consideration for Jacqueline's feelings.

And that's another episode in the bag....

Final thoughts

Hardeep laying low, which will hopefully help him come eviction time. While Natalie continues to shout her way out of the house, and the vote will hopefully reflect that.

Get Natalie out, keep Hardeep in....Nuff said

Big Brother USA 2018 - Episode 25 - Power of Veto 8

The countdown to finding out the 3rd member of the jury continues, as we head into Power of Veto #8

And this week, the house receives a guest from none other than Zingbot. So let's get down to business and see if Faysal can be any more stupid than he's already been

Previously

Angie was evicted 5-1 and became the 2nd member of the jury. Faysal won the key to the HoH room when he won the slip and slide competition. Nobody won the $5,000 bonus prize. JC set a plan in motion with Level 6 to convince the other side of the house that Brett had placed the one vote for Angie to stay, and then tried to plant a seed of doubt with Faysal that Scottie was crazy about Haleigh. Faysal, of course, was stupid enough to fall for it and torn between trusting Scottie and not trusting him put Scottie on the block, along with Brett.

Tonight

Opening credits tonight....

We pick up the action immediately after the nominations ceremony and needless to say Level 6 are very confident, and laughing their heads off thinking their Christmases have all come at once.

Faysal thinks someone is lying, no s**t Sherlock. Just admit you are a dam fool and have been played. Putting someone up on your own side, pretty dumb move and giving Level 6 the numbers to vote Scottie out. Absolutely no words.

Haleigh is even warning Faysal that the other side of the house will be picked off one by one, but the great big goof still thinks he was in the right and there's no danger. Oh boy is he in for a reality check soon.

Veto competition picks

As always the HoH and nominees play automatically, and 3 more houseguests are picked by random draw

Faysal, Brett, Scottie, Angela, Haleigh (Scottie's pick via HouseGuests choice) and Tyler are the players this week

In the HoH room, JC continues to plant seeds about Scottie's apparent infatuation with Haleigh to Faysal, and Faysal is still falling for it.

Enter the Zingbot

Time for a Big Brother USA staple in the Zingbot
  • People say robots are heartless, emotionless, and soulless.  Did I say robots?  I meant Angela
  • Haleigh…I have a question for you.  What do you call someone who is blonde, blue-eyed and has a crush on Brett?  Scottie
  • Kaycee…you have all the Big Brother viewers shouting, Let’s Go….to another channel
  • Brett…you always seem so fresh and clean which makes sense since you’re a giant douche.
  • Welcome to Big Brother Burger, can I take your order?  Yes, I would like something extra greasy, burnt to a crisp, and with a side of zits.  Sounds like you want a…Tyler
  • Fessy, I was surprised to learn you were a part-time teacher considering you are a full-time moron.  Every child left behind.
  • JC…the only thing thicker than your accent is your back hair.
  • Haleigh, you were so good at reading Hamlet, but the real Shakespearean tragedy was your HOH reign.
  • Sam, you love to tell everyone how real you are.  You are real…real f'ing crazy!
Straight into the Veto competition, and this week it's Hide and Seek obviously hosted by Zingbot and here is how it works. Basically the 6 competitors will enter the house in turn to hide their folders. Whoever's stays hidden at the end when the folders found are revealed, that houseguest wins the Veto.

Should be noted, every time Brett went into the house he covered up where he put his folder, making it very difficult for anyone to find it.

In discovery order:

Tyler found Angela's folder
Scottie found Tyler's
Faysal found Haleigh's
Haleigh found Scottie's

Nobody found Brett's folder, so Brett is the Veto holder this week, and almost certainly he will use it on himself.

Sam is none too pleased at the state the house is in

Back to the house action, and Sam and Scottie try to pitch to Faysal about putting Haleigh on the block, which Faysal is quite shocked by. Scottie goes down the no blood on hands route to try and convince Faysal it's the right move.

Will he put Haleigh up when Brett inevitably uses the Veto, or will he make another bone headed move....To be continued in episode 26 when Brett and Faysal make their decisions, and the 3rd jury member is revealed in the next live eviction

Final thoughts

The other side of the house getting completely obliterated, Haleigh has warned Faysal that side of the house will be picked off one by one, but he thinks he is in the right and he won't listen. Level 6 winning this season by a country mile at the moment, and it's being handed to them on a silver plate.

CBB UK Summer 2018 - Episode 7 - How dare they nominate me (Natalie)

Greeting, citizens, as we head into another episode with our summer CBB housemates

When last we left them, Natalie and Hardeep will go head to head in the public vote and Jermaine was pardoned, as in got immunity from the first vote off, by President Kirstie

Tonight sees Natalie kick up another storm (no pun intended) in the nominations fallout, and the Presidential task finally comes to an end. Hoorah some might say, didn't quite work out the way they had planned as, in case you missed it and if you did where have you been, Stormy Daniels was supposed to be in that role but she quit the show a few hours before launch. Anyway, enough of her and let's get on with the here and now.

Lights on and it's time for a brand new day

Natalie asks Rodrigo if he wants to exercise to which he agrees, and Kirstie tells possibly one of the fake-est people in the house in Roxanne. that she had an almost sex dream. Doesn't take much to bewilder young Roxy, if you told her the world was flat she would faint with the shock.

In the bathroom, Natalie asks Chloe about Jermaine, and how Chloe didn't ask him about being married or having a girlfriend. Chloe knew he had a girlfriend, but not married

Roxanne talks about the tension when doing nominations, which is what most of us want when it comes to nominations. Much better than them laying around the house during the nominations waiting to be called.

Back in the bathroom, Natalie wants to do a big exercise session without anyone being excluded. She then looks at Gabby and asks her how herself and Rodrigo have felt excluded from the workouts. Gabby denies excluding Natalie, and Natalie is revving up again. If she is excluded, I can't think why. Ben and Dan hear the raised voices and say 'here we go again'. Bloody snap, that woman can start an argument with herself in an empty room given the opportunity.

Gabby tells Natalie it's a free house, but I get the feeling Gabby is wasting her breath on someone who just wants arguments for the sake of it. I will say though, I hope Hardeep lays low between now and eviction night, and just lets Natalie shout herself out of the door. I know it's vote to save, and she is apparently entertaining, but to me she isn't as she is just NOISE. If she goes, at least the house can settle down a bit and breathe.

All this arguing just over an exercise period, whatever next....

In the bedroom, Jermaine says he feels like he wants to talk to Natalie. Wasting your breath, pal, as she'll probably shout you down as well. Meanwhile, Gabby is in tears in the Diary Room, asking to quit. Kerching, the first I want to walk of this series, and probably won't be the last. Just because of one argument, but then again I don't think I could last a day in there with Natalie let alone a week

In the garden Kirstie is talking about a movie audition where she weighed about 120 pounds and was told to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. It's these kinds of anecdotes we are missing with Live Feed, if it's bad now, what's it going to be like for Civilian when we won't know ANYTHING about them as we will be missing these little tidbits.

Hardeep says this director was a complete c*ck and Kirstie agrees he was a big douche. She then says she did lose that 10 pounds fasting on pineapples, to which Hardeep tells her a fact about pineapples.

In the bathroom Natalie is organising a twerk off. Hope she effs off on Friday. Roxanne says her real friends don't mention her in public, and don't mention they are having dinner with her, just that they are having dinner.

Kirstie openly admits to doing drugs in the past, Sally asks her if there was an incident that woke her up to her addiction. Kirstie says she was looking after her niece and nephew, and had just sniffed some cocaine and it hit her how horrible it was to be looking after them under the influence of cocaine, and called her sister to pick the kids.

Jermaine tells Big Brother about his immunity from nominations, despite the fact he may or may not have done anything to earn being immune. Meanwhile, Rodrigo is having a discussion with Gabby, to which Gabby says she doesn't have a problem with him. But she brings up a couple of things anyway, such as Natalie not liking her, him asking Gabby about her storm in front of Kirstie which made her feel uncomfortable, and so on and so forth

Next up, "Natalie is not happy with her fellow housemates". Tell us something we don't know, Marcus. She feels that she stands up for people, but they don't stand up for her. How can they get the chance if you are screaming in their faces constantly. She speaks of people being selfish, why doesn't she look in the mirror sometime.

Gabby still talking about walking. Well go then, you know where the door is. Get away from her, Dan, and respect your wife and kids.

Huzzah, the President task is finally over, and the housemates are finally reunited and CBB can properly get underway. Natalie is bitching to Rodrigo about Gabby, and does a bad impression.

We see that the White House is now gone to be replaced by a pink pool room, or in reality yet another bitching area in the house.

Sofa gatherage as Big Brother summons them to the lounge to announce who is facing the public vote. Hardeep has taken it well, but you know who hasn't and the word fake starts shooting from her mouth. In simple english, "How dare they nominate me". Did anyone bother to sit her down and go through the rules of CBB with her? You have to nominated and you may be nominated, what part of that don't you understand, Natalie?

After that little tirade, Sally is guiding Ben on to properly clean the kitchen floor with a cloth. Have they heard of a mop and bucket

In the bedroom, Natalie tells them to sit in 'her' vanity chair whilst soaking wet. Who are you to tell people where they can and can't sit, Natalie. It's a free house, they can sit where they want. Gabby and Chloe roll their eyes at what Natalie said, and rightly so.

In the Diary Room, Hardeep feels he is not up to certain people's standards. Can't think who's standards that might be

Dan is blubbing in the Diary Room about missing his kids, well you should have thought about them before signing up for this show.

Natalie is off on one again in the kitchen about being nominated, just do one on Friday and take that massive chip on your shoulder with you. Why are they wasting their breath trying to explain this to someone who doesn't obviously listen, seriously.

Bromance alert between Rodrigo and Ben, meanwhile Kirstie doesn't want to engage Natalie when she's angry. Kirstie knows how to handle Natalie as demonstrated in earlier episodes, but I just think Kirstie wants a quiet life, and can't see her losing her temper.

To close the show, we see the role playing that started just before the live feed cut off. Nice to see that in this house, they can come up with things to pass the time rather than sitting around waiting for Big Brother to give them something to do

And that's a wrap for this episode, to be continued in Episode 8 as we head into Week 2 for this series....

Final thoughts

Get Natalie out, nuff said

Big Brother USA 2018 - Episode 24 - HoH and Nominations 8

The path begins to finding out who the 3rd member of the jury is. In case you missed previous events:

"Haleigh finally claimed Power for her side of the House, and it appeared Level 6 was in hot water. But after Kaycee became the secret hacker, she swapped herself off the block for Haleigh's BFF (Angie). Tyler saved Angela (he won Veto), so Haleigh put Kaycee back on the block. Although loyal to his Level 6 alliance, Brett was infiltrating the other side of the house. After convincing Angie she was his ride or die, Angie and her allies were thinking she was safe. But at the eviction, it was another blindside. With the Head of Household back up for grabs, the final 9 entered a slippery battle for power"

Tonight.....

Opening credits make an appearance, and we start the action where we left it with the HoH competition.

Faysal: So I guess after all, Angie is evictable. This is the 5th time I didn't know where the votes were going to lie. JC tried to warn me just before eviction (flashback to 6 minutes before eviction). This is really starting to piss me off, and the only way to get to the bottom of this is to win this HoH.

In case you missed the last post regarding this competition, Slip and Slide competition had been rolled out. Whoever fills their glowstick right to the top and gets the ball back to the buzzer wins HoH. There is also a bonus glowstick which they can try and fill up to win $5,000.

Faysal is moving very quickly through this competition, while Sam tells us that JC looks like some kind of cartoon character just running on the spot.

After much slipping and sliding, Faysal gets his ball and buzzes making him the new HoH. Nobody got the $5,000 bonus.

Faysal: Let's get it, HoH, boy. I told you I'd do this. I've been on the wrong side of the vote every week. Now I'm in power, and I get what I want to do this week. I'm coming for you.

Scottie: I'm getting sick of finishing 2nd in every competition I play. However I'm confident Faysal will keep me safe, and I'm happy if anyone won, it's him.

Tyler: Your winner of the HoH, is Faysal. Here we go again for another Level 6 uphill battle. Lets see if we can come up with some kind of crazy plan, turn this around. It's not looking too good for us right now.. This may the week where our luck finally runs out.

Faysal: I knew my time was coming, and glad it came right now. This whole game I've been left in the dark, and I'm tired of sitting around and letting people skate on by doing shady bullcrap. I don't want to hear that.

Tyler: Level 6 could be screwed this week, but luckily I still have my Cloud power app which will keep me safe for one Nominations ceremony or one Veto ceremony

JC: I'm happy Faysal's HoH, he's been listening to me almost this whole game. So I have to make sure he targets who I want him to target. So, basically, this is going to be my HoH too

Brett: Faysal is definitely gunning for me. He looks at me as competition for Haleigh. So I don't think he wants to keep me, the single stud in the house, around. This old dog's going to have to break out some new tricks.

Haleigh is very excited that Faysal is HoH, and that the power is back in the other side of the house's hands. She goes on to say that there is no hacker competition to screw things up, as that ended just before Angie left. She wants to find out who has been lying to her and Faysal and take them out, as in evict them.

Scottie walks into the bedroom and immediately tells Haleigh he was the one vote to save Angie. Haleigh tells him they must tell Faysal, but doesn't really care who he puts up. I would assume this is going to be another 'great and wonderful' plan to try and backdoor one of Level 6, which went so well last time of course.

Haleigh believes Scottie is telling the truth and thinks Scottie could be a number for the other side of the house

Meanwhile JC discusses his alignment with Level 6, and we flashback again before eviction time where JC tells Tyler about Scottie's one vote, and then suggests have Brett make the other side believe it was him, so Haleigh and Faysal will turn against Scottie, as Scottie has been flipping votes back and forth according to JC.

Faysal tells Haleigh he doesn't trust Scottie, but she does. She asks him who does he want out, and he says one of Level 6. But he says he doesn't want Tyler on the block. Haleigh wonders what Faysal is thinking in not trusting Scottie, as he has their backs and they can't afford to lose someone on their side.

Faysal, shortly afterwards, and quite reluctantly accepts Scottie into the fold after much persuasion from Haleigh. Meanwhile JC tries to get in Faysal's ear about NOT trusting Scottie. Ball's in your court, Faysal. JC reports back to Level 6 to tell them the seed with Faysal thinking Brett placed the one vote has been planted.

Who wants to see my HoH room

A rare occurrence in this season with all the twists. We see pics of Faysal's family, a pic of Faysal when he was younger, and also a pic of him with his dog. He reads out his letter from his parents, and he breaks down a little. He tells the houseguests he won't be having one on ones at the present time, and will leave them to the next day.

Faysal says out loud that Scottie was the one vote, but as per Level 6's plan Brett confesses it was him. Kaycee doesn't even have to act convincing here, as the other side of the house are dummies anyway, as she has a faux argument with Brett. Faysal decides at this point, to just close down the meeting and have a rest and recharge ready for his one on ones

The very next day, JC now plays another card in that he wants to convince Haleigh that Scottie is really jealous of Faysal, all this while Faysal is in the room, but Haleigh is not falling for this and is adamant her and Scottie will always be friends. Safe to say Operation: Throw Scottie under the bus, has been a resounding success.

Trouble in paradise as Faysal wants Scottie to go, and Haleigh doesn't. These dummies on the other side of the house, I have no words for them....

Nominations ceremony

Faysal nominates SCOTTIE and Brett

Brett, JC and Level 6 are rightfully laughing their heads off

To be continued in Episode 25 when the Veto is up for grabs

Final thoughts

Brief one today in that the other side of the house are dummies and they deserve to be steamrolled by Level 6. I literally have no words how stupid they are.

Thank you for reading this post if you have made this far, and keep those RT's likes and shares coming in

CBB UK Summer 2018 - Episode 6 - Good old fashioned BB values

When we last left our summer series housemates:

  • Dismal failure in the shopping task
  • Natalie v Hardeep continued
  • The chalkboard and shopping list made a welcome return, and basic rations are meaning basic rations at least for now anyway
Today's episode sees the first nominations of the series and President Kirstie will make someone immune....

Rise and shine, and lights on for a brand new day and off we go....

10.01am

We start in the garden with Kirstie telling Ryan about his sleep talking from the night before. Ryan is bemused by this, as he finds it difficult to believe. The evidence is there for all to see in the last episode, Ryan. What is this guy going to actually do when he's no longer part of this President twist, as he hasn't really done much outside of it?

Chloe thinks Natalie is one of the loudest people in there....No s**t Sherlock, as it has practically turned into the Natalie show at the moment. If she is on the block after this episode, and she goes then others can step forward without being overshadowed by her. Natalie claims Ben is the loudest in there, and then says she is not opinionated and is just asking questions.

12.08pm

Gabby is putting the boys through their paces...as in exercises in the garden. Meanwhile, Rodrigo is talking to Kirstie about Scientology, but she is very evasive about talking about it and recommends reading the book about it and going online.

Hardeep talks to Natalie about Playboy, and she says she would do it now as it's not that risque anymore. Page 3 also crops up, which has effectively become defunct now. Kirstie and Rodrigo now join in the exercises in the garden as she don't really want to discuss the Scientology subject. Chloe tells Hardeep she is a young single mum, and doesn't have contact with the baby's dad. Hardeep inexplicably bursts into tears, saying he is crying for all dads. Strange thing to cry about, but the moment Chloe comforts him those tears seem to dry up very quickly.

1.11pm

Fruitcake Sally is strutting her stuff in the kitchen. Meanwhile in the bathroom, Gabby starts crying as Natalie has told Gabby that she (Gabby) is fading into the background. Hands off her, Dan, consider your wife's feelings.

Sofa gatherage as President Kirstie announces she will be issuing a presidential pardon, aka an immunity, for one housemate for the upcoming nominations. We see various clips of the housemates being interviewed by Kirstie. Once they have concluded, she gives the pardon to JERMAINE, so Jermaine cannot be nominated, but he can nominate. Bit of a strange decision to give him immunity as he wouldn't have been in trouble anyway, and he has done barely anything. Well, he probably has but we haven't seen it, as we don't have the luxury of a certain something to watch 24/7 to make up our own minds.

3.19pm

Chloe asks Kirstie what her storm is, to which Kirstie replies her weight gain and how she came to being that overweight. She explains that her accountant made a few mistakes and she ended up owning over a million dollars to the IRS. So she decided to make a program called Fat Actress, and sold it within a week.

6.48pm

More sofa gatherage as the housemates are locked in the lounge together ready for the first nominations of this series, and they will be called in alphabetical. Absolutely delighted with this, first time in 12 years this has happened, and it's much better than having them lounging all over the house waiting to be called in a random order. Those funny looks as people come from and go to the diary room with those "I nominated you" eyes which ramps up the tension and paranoia.

Ben is summoned in first, and off we go...

Housemates have to give full and frank reasons for why they are nominating who they are, and they cannot nominate themselves.

Ben: Natalie. Reason: I didn't like to see Gabby upset. That affected me. I think Gabby's lovely and I didn't like to see them little blue eyes redden up. I didn't like what she said to Gabby, and how she made her feel.

Ryan. Reason: Every time I'm around him, he makes me feel on edge. Obviously I know he's had a task to do, I know he's been isolated from the group which isn't great for him. I've tried to make an effort to get involved with him, but there have been certain moments where I've felt a lack of warmth in his presence.

Chloe: Nick. Reason: He doesn't make much of an effort to interact with anyone, and even if you try and talk to him, he's very vague and it's only small talk so it's very boring. I think if he made more of an effort to socialise instead of being quiet .then I wouldn't have picked him.

Hardeep. Reason: We had a conversation earlier where he was quite judgemental of my previous career. I feel like people shouldn't jump to conclusions before they know everything. I know he doesn't really understand it because he's not in the industry, but I felt like he was putting me down on what he did.

Dan: Natalie. Reason: She was very rude to Hardeep about his cooking. Then she was rude to Gabby as well and made her cry, and I don't want to see people that I like crying, and it's causing a bad atmosphere.

Roxanne. Reason: I don't feel like we're seeing the real her yet. Her facial expressions, the way she acts. She could be acting up a bit. I just want everyone to be the real them, and I don't think she is yet.

Gabby: Natalie. Reason: When Nat said I was 'fading into the background', initially I thought 'I do need to switch it up a notch'. But that's not who I am or who I want to be or what I want to do, so it made me feel intimidated, if I'm honest, because for the rest of the day, I've been avoiding being in a situation where she can put me on the spot again.

Rodrigo. Reason: I don't feel like Rod is being his complete self the whole time. There are certain times where he is really lovely and then, just out of nowhere, he'll give an almost aggressive point of view on something. He's made me feel uncomfortable a couple of times. There's a way of doing things, and the way he does them, I don't believe is the correct way.

Hardeep: Natalie. Reason: She kicked up something of a fuss over who gets to cook and who doesn't. She was offered the chance to cook today and declined the opportunity. She upset Gabby earlier on today and has been rude about my snoring and unhelpful about that. I feel personally she's a negative influence in the house.

Sally. Reason: This is after great soul-searching and is by no means straightforward. I like her personally and I have a connection with her. But something changed this evening in the run-up to these nominations where I felt a certain hostility from her, a certain sharpness from her, and she seemed very sure that I was going to nominate her. That wasn't the case, but it is now. So maybe art imitates life, and life imitates art.

At this point, talk in the lounge turns to Natalie asking about the various storms amongst the housemates. She then starts shouting at everyone when some of them don't want to, in her own classy way of course with a lot of f's and other swear words thrown in. She does realise it is nominations time, and she probably picking up a few more nominations as she goes off on another one of her tirades?

Jermaine: Natalie. Reason: She's made one of the housemates cry. Gabby is a lovely girl and doesn't deserve that at all.

Hardeep. Reason: He's getting on certain people's nerves. There's animosity between him and Sally, him and Natalie. The longer that goes on, the more it's going to flare up, certain housemates feel they can't get themselves in the kitchen, because he's controlling over that, and also at nighttime, the snoring is pretty bad.

Kirstie: Natalie. Reason: I feel like she is explosive in a way that exacerbates a situation to create unrest. It makes people very uncomfortable. I don't like the manner of control she uses to dominate.

Rodrigo. Reason: This is tougher. The only explanation I have is that it was my observation that he didn't help as much as other people did in the work of what it takes to run a house, and it takes to clean, and not just cleaning your own mess up, but cleaning other people's messes up. He's more concerned about what he's wearing, and how he looks and things like that, and that's great, that's his thing, but it doesn't replace taking responsibility for an entire space. It's that simple.

Natalie: Hardeep. Reason: I don't like the things that come out of his mouth. Or his cooking, or the way he snores, or how he looks at me. We have literally been bumping heads since we got here. He has to go.

Kirstie. Reason: She doesn't want to answer any questions. She walks away when I ask her a simple question. I have no idea what Kirstie is even doing here, to be honest with you. She doesn't want to talk, she doesn't want to mingle, she just wants to sleep in the White House, she doesn't even try to come over and say anything to anybody, and honestly that's just fake. I don't like fake.

9.47pm

Nick: Kirstie. Reason: My wife won't like me for that. She's a little bit isolated from the group. I don't really see her making any effort to engage with the remainder of the group. It's a team, and I find teams important, and everybody needs to engage with each other. We're not getting that level of engagement from Kirstie, I believe.

Chloe. Reason: She's very polite, very nice, I can have a laugh and a joke with her, but she doesn't really add anything in terms of output to the house.

Rodrigo: Gabby. Reason: She excluded me from working out this morning with her. She just doesn't like me, and she made that obvious today.

Hardeep. Reason: Hardeep is very loud. It is very hard to sleep sometimes. He snores so loudly. He snores and farts so loud, it's inappropriate.

Roxanne: Hardeep. Reason: I've seen a side to him with other people that's created a really tense and uncomfortable atmosphere, and that's affected me. He's also made a couple of comments that I didn't appreciate about my absent dad, and I just felt he crossed the line there.

Natalie. Reason: She's a strong, sassy, vocal, passionate woman. I respect that in every single way. But there was a massive argument that erupted, which was overwhelming. It's affecting the people around me and their temperament, and their moods are changing, which is having a knock-on effect to me.

Ryan: Chloe. Reason: I feel like Chloe may be a bit of a closed book. Quite a private person, not very good at warming to people straight away. For that reason, it's stopped us getting to know each other.

Natalie. Reason: She is probably the only person in the house that I get a not-so-nice vibe from. She is making me aware that it's a game, and she mentioned to Gabby: "why don't you go and speak to Kirstie, and ask her about her storm, because you are getting a little bit left behind in this group". She is playing a game, and my personal view is that that is wrong.

Sally: Hardeep. Reason: I find his behaviour inappropriate. He uses his academia and his intelligence as a manipulative weapon.

Rodrigo. Reason: He hasn't been pulling his weight enough with the household duties. He's living with a group of us, and he needs to take his turn in that, and he hasn't shown himself in my eyes in doing that.

Facing the public vote this week will be NATALIE (8 votes) and Hardeep (6 votes). Good old fashioned head to head, some will say the two biggest characters in the house so far and we have to lose one of them. So, it's all in the hands of the edit now, and it's vote to stay. So who stays the editing will decide.

And also people who did watch this episode, no pointless background music and the tacky tally board which usually appears

12.48pm

Natalie tells Roxanne she is not there to rock the house, and that she's not the storm but they are all the storm. She goes on to say there's a lot of lies going on, and a lot of promiscuous people in there. Of course she moves on to her favourite subject in Hardeep, and talks about his past problems in being booted from the BBC

And now on to a BB favourite in Spin the Bottle, think everyone knows how that works after all these years, and doesn't usually end well.

That's about it for tonight's episode, and it's to be continued in Episode 7

Final thoughts

Another few tips of the hat to the golden days of Big Brother, which pleases me. So good to see all these little changes back, even though it's probably going to be too little too late. Really missed the days when they were gathered on the sofa for nominations, but I welcome those days back now. It has really been a dream for us hardcore fans these last few days with these little nods, and please keep them going. Thank you so much Big Brother, for listening to us again and giving us reasons to love Big Brother again. One more thing, you don't need mean tweets, replaying Diary Room conversations to the house, or some outside influence to get them arguing. Just lock them in the lounge, and someone is bound to go off. Nice and simple.

As for Natalie v Hardeep, for me personally Natalie can do one this week. I know some people will say 'but she brings the entertainment', but if she goes they can breathe a bit without her overbearing presence there dripping poison in their ears.

Shout out to the live feed as well, went all the way up to 3rd in the UK trends last night on Twitter, and the controller of the channel thinks it is not needed or nobody cares about it. Who the heck is he kidding. Tell me Mr. Frow, what will you have left on 'your' channel should you pull the plug on your biggest ratings grabber....Let's see:

Bailiffs/Benefits/Traffic Cops/50 TV moments on stock rotation
Gino Sheffield's Win your Wishlist
The Farm remake

Take off your rose tinted glasses, pal, and have a look at the bigger picture. There's only one show keeping your channel afloat, and you would be mad to get rid of it.

You have done one correct thing since you overseen Big Brother on your channel, and that is banning a certain person from everything Big Brother related. Don't be a fool and sink your channel by binning your biggest asset.

And on that note, thank you everyone for reading this post. It's very much appreciated along with the RT's, likes and shares. Look out for the next USA post which will come shortly if you are following that as well.

If you missed Big Brother Radio's last show, catch up right here and also check BB on Blast's new podcast if you haven't already, which is right here which includes two short interviews with former housemates Stacy Francis and Chelsea Singh.

If you need any information regarding UK, USA or Canada, click on the links to the right.

Unfortunately UK information is in very short supply, as there are no live updates this and very little Live Feed, but click on the links anyway should you need to keep updated and most of the links to the right are updated regularly, so keep your eye on them.

CBB UK Summer 2018 - Episode 5 - Back to the past in a good way

Greetings, citizens of Big Brother world, as we move into another episode from the Jolly old UK's version of Celebrity Big Brother

The shopping task is well underway as the Border Control, aka the housemates, try to prevent intruders getting over the wall they built in the last episode and swiping a green card. Expect many more intruders in this one, and find out if they can get to the promised land of a luxury shopping budget. All this and more incoming in this episode, stay tuned....

9.35am

Lights on for the new day, and Natalie is already running her mouth to Hardeep about his snoring. What is her problem with him? He's done absolutely nothing to her. Meanwhile Kirstie is telling Sally about her 16 lemurs, and their unusual habits and how one of them sleeps in the shower. Marcus tells about the BB rule about housemates still sleeping when the lights go on. Natalie is picking at him, no surprise there, and then she goes off to b**ch to other people about him.

11.56am

The shopping task resumes and it's Ben and Roxanne on duty first as per the rules. Jermaine tells Hardeep about a match against Maccabi Haifa. Chloe and Gabby are talking about Natalie, and how she goes about her conversation with Hardeep. Yes, girls she has got a problem with him, but it is in no way, shape or form the B word as some of the people complaining are claiming.

Back to the shopping task, and Vladimir Putin makes his way in but he quickly collared by Roxanne and Ben. Fails stay at 3.

12.26pm

Hardeep is treating Dan to a massage, to which Dan is enjoying. Rodrigo and Nick are next to patrol, and it's Kim Jong Un next in and he is swiftly rounded up. Still 3 fails.

12.59pm

Rodrigo and Nick are still patrolling, but this time Rodrigo spots Dan exercising and takes his eye off the ball regarding the task. Kirstie says method actors are not great to work with, Tom Hanks's name pops up along with Al Pacino. Courtney Love, Elton John and Prince Charles also get a name drop. Meanwhile Roxanne says how she once met the Spice Girls, but only 2 of them.

Charles and Camilla get over the wall and grab the green card, and the housemates yell for them to get out. Shouldn't have taken your eye off the wall, Rodrigo. Another fail for the task, taking them up to 4 fails

2.13pm

Chloe and Jermaine are in the hot tub, where you can plainly see Jermaine eyeing her up. Eyes front, Jermaine. Kirstie is telling Ryan about her signature dishes, some of which include sausage, gravy and biscuits....All together as one meal. Ryan seems bemused by this as he tells her biscuits go in tea not gravy. Dan asks Natalie and Gabby who is playing up most to the camera. Hint, Dan, she's sitting right in front of you. Dan thinks Roxanne is playing up the most, yes I suppose but the biggest player is right under your nose, pal.

2.47pm

Big Brother announces the shopping task is over and is reading them the results. First of all, the wall itself had to be built within 2 hours, and they managed a time of 1h 15m, so that's a pass. Secondly they had to construct the wall correctly, but they didn't so 1 fail. Finally they had to stop the invaders grabbing the green cards, they failed to stop 3 invaders, taking their fails up to 4. The pre-determined number of fails has been sealed in an envelope, and it is revealed to be 3 fails

As they had 4 fails, they have failed this week's shopping task and will receive a basic shopping budget. Now the wait begins to see if BB keep them on basic budget, or if someone will get a nice easy task to make sure they a party and takeaway.

5.05pm

Gabby has got a bit of soreness in her shoulder, and Super-Dan is right there to offer her a massage. She tells him no thanks in no uncertain terms, yes get away from her Dan. Have you forgotten you have a wife and kids on the outside, that you should be thinking about.

Sally the charlatan has another 'vision', this time she saw a dog. There are plenty of dog ornaments in the house. Nick is telling some housemates about his travels from Malaysia to Brunei, and tells them his face is on every one of the TV's in the departure lounge as at this time he was a wanted man, and then when he got to his destination, newspapers circulated with his picture on them.

5.39pm

Still in the garden, Gabby and Natalie are doing some sort of synchronised exercises, and then Jermaine tries to show off using a nearby pole.

In the Diary Room, Dan talks about how Gabby is a girl of few words, because she knows him. He admits they are not on friendly terms. He talks about her like he fancies her, still totally oblivious that he has a wife and children on the outside. Jacqueline apparently is not watching the show, but if she was I suspect the divorce papers would be winging their way to the house as we speak. I really hope BB doesn't try and force Dan and Gabby together and respect Jacqueline's feelings.

Natalie once again is picking at Hardeep, this time about his cooking. Why don't you do your own cooking then, there may be a vacancy coming up soon if he is evicted. Let's see you rustle something up like he does once he is not there.

7.28pm

A familiar voice for Big Brother, as in Trevor Boris from BB Canada who does a great job as Marsha the Moose over there. £2.50 per person, as the often amusing debate about the shopping list begins as Dan brings out the blackboard.

9.28pm

Dan is saying to Jermaine about how sassy Natalie is towards Hardeep. In the bedroom, Hardeep is telling Natalie how they are all in this together, he states he is not interested in winning. She asks him what his motivation is for cooking every single day. Perhaps it's something for him to do, instead of talking about people behind their backs like you do. They both agree they are not on the same side.

And straight away she's talking about him when she leaves the bedroom, saying he doesn't like her at all. Think the facts are mixed up, Natalie.

Back to Sally and her visions, as she tries to give Chloe a reading which causes Chloe to eventually break down in tears. Google is a wonderful thing isn't it Sally. Chloe talks about her kidnapping in Milan, which obviously affected her very deeply. Please don't exploit this, Sally, she has suffered enough.

In the Diary Room, Hardeep thinks Sally is an amazing show-woman, but thinks it may be true, but then again may be false.

12.12am

Hardeep tries to get to know Chloe. Some conversation follows about Hardeep and his intentions. Jury's out on that for me

2.22am

Hardeep is laying on the sofa in the garden, and it's pointed out that housemates are not allowed to sleep in the garden. Meanwhile in the Presidential suite, Ryan is talking in his sleep. In the bedroom, who is that snoring. Oh it's Natalie. Pot meet kettle.

And that's a wrap for another episode

To be continued in Episode 6

Final thoughts

What else is there to say apart, welcome back old school BB. Chalkboard, shopping list, failed shopping task, basic meaning basic rations so far, and also for BB Canada fans Trevor Boris as the voice of Big Brother. Wouldn't have it any other way, and a very decent episode. Thank you BB, keep up the good work

Gets even better, in a small spoiler apparently housemates will be locked in one room with each other when they do their nominations in episode 6. Love it.

Thank you for reading if you have made it this far, and keep those RT, shares and likes coming as they are very much appreciated

Shout out to Big Brother Radio, who will be on the air after Episode 6 has finished and they can be found right here, so feel free to join in the chat or even call into the show if you want to make your voice heard.
