Big Brother UK 2018 - Episode 29 - Dropping the Ball

Greetings, citizens, as we move into another Veto competition

In case you missed it, Big Brother's wrath was felt all around the house as basic rations were dished out, hot water and electrical appliances were switched off. This was due to several rule breaks as in talking about nominations and ignoring Big Brother's instructions and also the alarms as in not getting out of bed. This all caused Cameron to whine throughout the episode, nothing new there.

Tonight sees Tomasz, Hussain, Isabella, Cameron and 2 others of Cameron's choosing participate in the Veto competition to save themselves or someone else, as the double eviction gets a step closer.

Lewis cannot play in the Veto comp as he received the killer nominaton from Hussain

So without further ado, let's get things underway.....Wake up housemates, it's a new day, yes it is

The usual deafening alarms as the housemates enter their 2nd day on basic rations, and some very miserable faces can be seen.

Cameron picks ZOE and BROOKE for the Veto competition, and it's an endurance competition this week as we will soon see. The very same Cameron is in full on whine mode as usual, and it's still about basic rations. Partner in crime, or should that be whinging, Lewis says he hasn't eaten anything.

Isabella is hauled into the Diary Room for her punishment as she talked about the viewers poll, hereby breaking the no talking about the outside world and also talking about nominations. She gets off relatively lightly as she is only fined 150 coins. Should have been at least a FINAL warning, not that piddly punishment Big Brother gave her.

Speculation now back to the Killer Nomination power, courtesy of Lewis and Cameron. Sian's (who?) name crops up now. Lewis does have a fair point though, as she IS floating her way to the final, hence the constant who references.

Veto competition

As stated earlier, it's endurance

Each housemate has to hold onto a ball attached to a bungee rope. They can use other body parts they wish to hold onto the ball, but if a housemate comes off their podium, or the ball touches the ground then that housemate is eliminated.

Hussain is already revving up to be a complete asshole, just wait. He starts screaming DROP THE BALL to the other participants

Order of elimination:

Brooke
Zoe
Cameron
Hussain
Tomasz

ISABELLA wins the Veto power for this week, will she use it to save herself or someone else....Stay tuned

Meanwhile, Hussain has completely lost it as he randomly starts shouting at anyone who is listening, and is fast sealing his eviction this week whether it be the first eviction or the second. He is screaming about wanting to leave, well I'm sure the public will oblige in the next eviction if he doesn't get kicked out before then the way he is carrying on.

To no great shock, Isabella uses the Veto on herself, so it will be LEWIS, HUSSAIN and TOMASZ facing the public vote. Absolutely no idea how the second vote is going to go though, do we decide or do the housemates.

The dummy spitting continues from Hussain, keep it up and keeping digging your eviction grave nice and deep. You won't be missed if you go, it will be a dam relief. Too little too late to try and clear the air with Isabella now, pal.

Today's task

Dining table gatherage as Big Brother give the housemates a chance to win their food back, as in a public apology via poetry. To no great shock they have passed, and all is well in the world as they get their food, hot water and electrical appliances back. Hussain is prowling around outside, still sulking after his meltdown earlier in regards to the endurance Veto.

Less said the better, I think

Back to house action

Cian says the mood has changed since the food has come back, and says there won't be any more rule breaking. Fat chance of that. Isabella and Cian are making the most of the now returned hot water, meanwhile Isabella is the talk of the moment in the garden.

Brooke is wary of Isabella and says she and Isabella have nothing in common. Get to know her then, Brooke, it's not THAT difficult. She also points out about the papers outside, did she not get the memo that as with the channel the show is on, the papers stopped giving a crap about Civilian many years ago.

Hussain says he was bullied quite a lot, and starts crying to Big Brother. Too late for the waterworks, Hussain. Nuff said.

And that's it for another episode, to be continued in Episode 30 where we see the start of this week's shopping task.

One more thing, EVICT has won out as the viewers could vote between Evict and Save for the rest of the series. There will be complaints of course, that the interesting housemates will get voted out, but to be fair, there would have been complaints anyway from either the EVICT or SAVE camps whichever had won the vote. Evict for the rest of the series, so the people have spoken and let's get on with things.

Final thoughts

Bye Bye Hussain, you screamed so loud urging the other participants to drop their ball and you couldn't even hang on to yours. No point screaming and shouting about losing, did you not remember you were up for the public vote, and now you have all but sealed your eviction on Friday whether it be in the first or second eviction. As for Isabella winning Veto, she won it fair and square although perhaps she should have been banned from it as part of her punishment. What's done is done though, and she is safe from the first eviction as least this week. Could both newbies be gone this week, stay tuned.
