Big Brother UK 2018 - Episode 18 - The only way is China

Good day, ladies and gentlemen, final call for departures to China as Big Brother takes the housemates on a trip to China, or a very clever replica of it at least.

In case you missed it, Kenaley won the Veto and used it on herself. Therefore it will be Isaac, Akeem and Brooke facing the public vote.

Please make sure all luggage is safely stowed, and we'll be off and running to China

We pick up the action with Big Brother waking them up and informing them they will be departing for China, Lewis actually thinks they are going to China. What a maroon

Tomasz, Sian (who?) and Zoe have been picked to be the cabin crew. So something nice and easy for him to do, no shock there.

They have been allocated a set number of fails, so must excel at a number of tasks they will be given. The cabin crew will be tested first, in terms of cabin crew service. Off we go.....

Cabin crew must first decide which two housemates will get first class service, and they settle on Brooke and Isaac.

Boarding time

This is where the fun begins now, just keep reading and enjoy the flight

Endurance task for the passengers as in a time of 5 hours, and the cabin crew have to do a safety demonstration as in oxygen masks and lifejackets. Tomasz makes a right pigs ear of this demonstration, no doubt some found it funny out there though.

Customer service next up for the cabin crew, while Akeem says he is glad there isn't a baby aboard. How little he knows......

Next up, that elusive Sian is introduced to Baby Bow Bow, to which Lewis has been assigned. He does not take to his task with much enthusiasm. Lewis had to cradle and feed Bow Bow for an unspecified time. Immediately Bow Bow starts crying.....

Bow Bow still crying, and the irritation amongst them all is starting to show. True test of endurance I would say.

Now the housemates have been given their next challenge in learning Mandarin, Cameron is barely bothering and is whining. Meanwhile Lewis says it's the best cabin crew in the Cockpit, and the camera cuts to Tomasz laying on his stomach. Says it all really about Tomasz, doesn't it.

Argument out of nowhere between Kenaley and Isaac, she has cracked under some pressure but then again Isaac did say out loud for her to be quiet. Kenaley storms to the toilet still screaming her head off.

Landing

The cabin crew remind everyone to get their seatbelts on, and Big Brother welcomes them to China. Basically just the UK house, and the signs in the house have been changed to Mandarin, and also Big Brother will only speak to them in Mandarin, so let's hope the housemates have practised. A Chinese takeaway has been laid out for them as they head back in, and Tomasz gets stuck in right away leaving a bit of spring roll hanging from his chin.

So much for being on basic budget, eh?

Cameron is summoned to the Diary Room and has to speak in Mandarin to Big Brother. That's what you get for not practising, Cameron.

Isaac and Kenaley make up, at least for now while Lewis is now whining in the bedroom. Cameron's still struggling in the Diary Room. Spin the Can being played in the pool, before Lewis becomes the new topic of discussion. Brooke explains how he went off on her.

And now we get hints of Cian having a crush on someone in the house. Oh boy, just what we don't need, a showmance. We find out Cameron is the mystery person, the biggest whiner in the house.

Cian finally gets round to telling the man of the moment, to say it is awkward would be a massive understatement. Have a feeling Cian may regret this when he has eventually sobered up, however getting things out in the open is infinitely better than bottling things up.

Of course, Staler and Waldorf or Cameron and Lewis as they are known are sitting in a dark corner whining away. Plenty of differing opinions on social media about this situation, and of course everyone is entitled to their opinion.

And on that note, that is curtains

Final thoughts

I tip my hat to the task team, that was a mighty fine set they have put together for this task. MUCH better than just dusting off the podiums or shock suits as in previous years. Much more tasks like this please as we may never see the show again after this year.
