Greetings, citizens, and welcome to the next installment of Big Brother from the Batcave
Tonight sees the crowning of the next HoH and who the new HoH will put on the chopping block
No Arisa in this episode, as there is obviously no need for an audience in this episode
Previously on Big Brother Canada:
- Johnny won HoH, and after much deliberation and crocodile tears placed Alejandra and Rozina on the chopping block
- In the Veto, Johnny wormed his way to the win and decided not to use the Veto
- A unanimous vote sent Rozina packing
- The gatecrashers, Merron and Veronica, arrived via the Diary Room
Who will win the next HoH, will the gatecrashers get their story straight, and can the Have nots handle their new surroundings....Find out presently on Big Brother Canada
We pick up the action at Rozina's eviction, with Alejandra saying she is happy she is still there while Jesse says Andrew was relentless on trying to flip the house to save Rozina, and it has rubbed the house totally the wrong way
Flashback to pre-eviction, Andrew's scheming is shown to try and flip the house, and he says in the Diary Room that some of the houseguests are 'not built for the battle'
Back to the present, Merron and Veronica make their entrance from the Diary Room after Arisa reminds them to come up with a convincing story to how they came to be in there
Olivia is already not convinced about Merron and Veronica's story, and Veronica tells them about the competition process which did not take place in which she and Merron were selected to go in the house
Olivia says she will not work with Veronica or Merron and wants them out of the house ASAP
Olivia and Maddy already murmuring about the newcomers being dishonest, as Veronica and Merron are shown around.
Some of the houseguests are trying to keep Veronica and Merron away from Andrew, so he doesn't 'reel them in'
Merron can't believe he is in the Big Brother house, but admits the houseguests are not buying the story he and Veronica have come up with, as in case you missed it Arisa told them they CANNOT tell the houseguests Canada voted them in.
Merron and Veronica admit the story was horrible and Veronica says it will be horrible if they get called out. Merron then says he was caught off guard when the houseguests asked if they (M and V) had seen the houseguests bios. They are interrupted when Erica walks in.
Merron makes his way to the White Rose Room, and Andrew says he won't send any bull***t Merron's way.
Now for the HoH competition, and it's somewhat similar to something Big Brother UK like to do on occasion in grabbing that big wooden spoon and giving things a nice stir.
Basically, this competition is based on first impressions. Earlier in the day, Big Brother had the houseguests fill in a survey based on first impressions of each other. The competition is called RIGHT IN THE KISSER, and as outgoing HoH, Johnny is not eligible to compete. Questions will be asked and the first houseguest to buzz in will take their martini glass to Johnny. He will pour them a drink, give them the answer and the houseguest who buzzed in will throw the drink in the face of the houseguest they think is that answer. If correct, they will choose someone to be cut off and eliminated from the competition. If incorrect, the houseguest who buzzed in will be eliminated
Veronica and Merron, as the newcomers, are extempt from this competition and are safe for the week

If that was BB UK, there would be open warfare almost straight away
The autopsy of the competition now begins, Paras can be seen in the White Rose bedroom congratulating herself saying how the stuff that came out about here will help her game
Hamza asks Ryan if he's ready for the whole house to go sucking up to him and Ryan says he is ready for at least 10 people to ask him to put Andrew on the block. He (Ryan) says he is going to play things by ear and going to dance a lot. Hamza says based on things right now, next week is going to be a physical competition.
Erica says she and Andrew have been friends since the start, but wants to smooth things over. She tells him that there has been talk that whoever didn't eliminate Andrew from the competition. Andrew asks who has been saying that, and Erica basically name drops the whole house. Andrew remarks that Erica made it clear and it may have been time to jump ship on him.
Erica says she won't waste her breath anymore trying to explain the situation to him
Andrew is pretty mad about now, claiming the whole house is 'friendly, friendly' when it's really not, and Olivia admits the house is pretty messy. Andrew says he is shooting daggers at Erica and she shouldn't have told him what he did. He is pretty much saying she backstabbed him after he put her in the Heaven housemates
Back from the break and Alejandra is singing, before Ryan does "Who wants to see my HoH room" and cue the stampede
We see a basket of Twistos, a picture of Ryan with his wife and another of his son. Ryan's son has made him a T-shirt with Ryan's face on it
Big Brother has left a note saying that each week Canada will choose from several Hasbro games and the first choice is Twister
Ryan then plays a video message from his son. His son tells Ryan that his hockey team are doing very well.
Jesse is speaking with Alejandra and admits he does not know who Ryan will put on the block. Alejandra suggests that maybe Andrew could go up, which Jesse agrees with. Alejandra thinks Ryan has been laying low and says he is smart and should not be underestimated.
Into Day 7, Andrew says he was very angry when he went to bed but when he woke up and freshened up for the day ahead, it was time for the campaigning to start.
He starts by trying to clear the air with Erica, and says he wasn't in a good space in the competition. He continues with that he didn't mean to snap at Erica or stare at her, and felt really bad about how he acted towards her. Erica tells him not to beat himself up about it and they hug.
Next up Andrew goes to Olivia and he shares a hug with her as well, and says he is feeling the love with everyone today.
As HoH, Ryan has to now choose 4 Have not's for the week and he opts for Heaven housemates as the Hell housemates have already had slop
Ryan chooses Jesse, Derek, Hamza and Erica, and now for a look at the Have Not room
No beds to be seen, strange smells, barely any heat, a tomb in the middle of the room...Hamza wonders what Big Brother what is doing to them
Ryan and Erica are in the HoH room, and they can't believe how surreal it is that they are actually in there after watching the show for so long
Ryan wants to find out what Erica is all about and sharing a Wendy's meal
Erica wants Ryan to know she can see herself working with him in the future, and Ryan wants a better connection with Erica so he may be able to use her down the road.
Meanwhile in the Red Rose bedroom, things between Kaela and Derek are revving towards a showmance. Derek wants to play 20 questions, to which Kaela obliges.
Kaela says Derek is charming, and feels she and Derek are on the same page
Meanwhile, Merron thinks he and Veronica are not in the clear yet, and Veronica thinks one of them should win the next HoH. Merron says he and Veronica have to stay on the same page in this game for as long as possible
Before the noms ceremony, Ryan says he has to go on a little intel mission to gather as much info as he can before he makes his choices for the chopping block
Paras first in, and she says Olivia is very smart and warns Ryan not to underestimate her. Erica is also mentioned as very strong and is aligning with Johnny and Olivia.
Andrew mentions to Hamza he is taking meetings with everyone except him and Hamza
Into the nominations ceremony, and Ryan is finding it difficult to know who to nominate
"As Head of Household, it is my duty to nominate two houseguests for eviction"
Ryan has nominated ANDREW and HAMZA
Andrew - House consensus that after last week you should go on the block
Hamza - Asked to be nominated
Ceremony is complete
Hamza says he is playing with a bunch of sheep, and Andrew says he is going to be fighting hard for Veto
