House of Revelations - Summary and Thoughts (BBUK 2026)

Greetings, fellow Big Brother citizens, as we thankfully head out of House of Revelations

To say this was a lousy week would be a bit of an understatement

  • Johanne gone
  • New housemates treated like dirt as soon as they walked in, one more than the other
  • Less said about the shopping task the better
  • Way too much big pile of poo stirring where it wasn't needed
Need I say more?

Rochelle going to be even more insufferable now her nemesis is gone, although it should have been her that went. Guess her fanbase is just too strong, and the show are going out of their way to make sure she is bullet proof until her usefulness is done. Anyway, on to the newbies and we have Catrin from Aberdare, and Twinks (genuine name not a made up nickname on my part I may add) from East London.

And already Philip and Rochelle (who else) are gossiping about Twinks already, but you should have seen Rhianna's face, wondering if either of the newbies were a threat to her overall pursuit of Lynx and her current 'romance' with Omar. Worth a thousand words. She was fuming......

Meanwhile back on the Rochelle show, she was coming up with rude nicknames for both Catrin and Twinks while Harry was bringing up with Rob the way Rochelle is acting since surviving eviction, while Pauline said Rochelle's true colours were coming through.

Yes still missing Live Feed, seeing what conversations we may be missing out on....

On to the next day, Pauline was in the Diary Room in tears, bemoaning how she felt alone now Johanne had gone. Philip offered an olive branch to Pauline to which she turned down, and he wasted no time in reporting into HQ to criticise her. That guy has gone way down in people's estimations, especially since the two newbies have arrived. From what we have been shown, it's not hard to see why.

Omar was with Yasmin and Lynx talking about his fears about witchcraft. Basically, most of the remaining segments were taken up with this.... Outside of this, there was discussion about identity which I won't go into

Now time for some big pile of poo stirring courtesy of The Library, in which Big Brother had stored housemates conversations. Topics such as:

"Samuel calls out a stirrer"
"Rochelle calls Samuel Mr Bean"
"Is Harry as thick as he makes out"
"Does Yasmin have a crush on Lynx"

Plus a few others.....

The rest of the episode was to do with Twinks admittance about being a witch, and her hopes about winning people over....

Only in a little while and she already had people in there rattled, and has catapulted to the top of the betting odds already, one to watch I would say providing she doesn't muck things up in the meantime

Next day, Twinks admitted she had trouble sleeping due to worrying about her 'witch' narrative, while Rob said he had a dream about finding Gemma Collins's hairbrush.... Oh boy he is going to be so happy at the end of this week.

Rhianna, remember her?, was talking about Omar and how he could be quite childish during arguments. Well you decided to hang on to him for this ridiculous nomance, so you're stuck with him until any deals run out on the outside, but then again the toilet papers are barely bothered about Big Brother these days. The man himself got himself into an argument, yes another one, this time with Yasmin to which she wanted to go home. Well there's the door, use it.

More practical joking from Harry and Samuel to remain relevant in there, jeez some of these men have got to go and soon.

More stirring ahead as a Agree or Disagree task was rolled out where Twinks, practical jokes, Rob dancing on the table and whether have two newbies was a great thing were asked of the housemates. Completely pointless and didn't accomplish much.

Two Twinks heavy segments follow, with disagreements with Omar and clearing the air with Philip. A further segment then showed her bonding with Lynx about losing fathers at early ages

Some rulebreaking with a shedload of nomination talk and Omar writing a birthday card for Rhianna....Punishment soon to follow, but don't expect anything major as with most punishments in this current era.

Party time now as it's Rhianna's birthday, to which she got a hamper full of treats and a tiara to which she had requested. Twinks made another confession in that she had worked as a burlesque dancer, and was comfortable with nudity.

Here it comes as in the punishment, and look at that 5 minutes in the jail for Omar and Rochelle, more airtime for those two, not literally 5 minutes but just over an hour or two. No wonder they don't take punishments seriously, they KNOW they can do what they like and the punishments will be very lenient and indeed a joke.

Moving swiftly on, and here come face to face nominations where they will chicken out of nominating their main targets as usual. When all was said and done Rob and Pauline were on the chopping block. All they have to do is keep their heads down, and they may have a chance of staying in.... Not likely in this series, given how it's gone so far.

As the edit would have us believe, Pauline was not taking things at all well and was in full 'how dare they nominate me' mode and threatening to leave. Well the edit has been working towards her downfall for a while, so not surprised at this.

On to Rhianna's party, in which Omar made a cake for her, ah young love, but I use that L word very loosely with these two. They won't last 5 minutes on the outside.

More grief for Pauline, as a conversation with Catrin went downhill very rapidly, and then Pauline said she was going to be made out to be the villain regarding her conversation with Catrin to Rob and Harry.

Catrin was then in tears as she overheard the conversation, and Pauline tried to comfort Catrin and then along comes Rochelle to poke Pauline with a stick, not literally, and Pauline then exploded. To quote Kate Lawler from that evening's Group Chat, Gary Get Involved aka Harry tried to keep Pauline and Rochelle apart..... Big Brother then put Pauline in the snug overnight to cool off

The morning after the night before, and Pauline is back in the house, and of course Rochelle gives her own version of events when she clearly got involved when she didn't need to. Not the first time she has piped into a conversation that has nothing to do with her, and yet she is cheered from the rooftops by some people for some reason known only to them.

On to Rob with another one of his 'performances', first trying to twerk in front of a mirror, and then BB encouraging him to sing in the Diary Room. Thanks a lot, BB, a punishment for all of us there.

Something more serious, in Pauline receiving a formal warning for the fireworks the night before. It is strange how selective BB are in showing warnings when certain others have not been shown. Make of that what you will, citizens.... I'm sure everyone has their own opinion on this

Back to The Library, and Twinks and Catrin could invite two housemates in with them and they chose Philip and Lynx. The subjects this time were:

  • Yasmin discussing the nomance between Omar and Rhianna
  • Yasmin's involvement in the witch argument
  • Are Lynx and Omar two faced?
  • Has Rochelle turned smug after avoiding eviction
  • Rochelle's nickname for Twinks
Another waste of time as Twinks and Rochelle cleared the air shortly afterwards, and Rhianna and Yasmin had a head to head about Yasmin's views about the nomance.

Bizarre story about Rochelle's experience in a night club about seeing herself in a mirror and nearly having an argument with herself... Riveting stuff

Back to the nomance, and Rhianna said she would like to see Omar a lot more on the outside....Likely story, he won't see her for dust when they get out.

More pranking, very riveting, from Frankie and Lynx as they messed with Gary Get Involved aka Harry's bed. Samuel spilt some tea about Philip to Pauline, and then some mundane chat to end that episode.

The day before the eviction, and housemates woke up to an adult sized model railway set, complete with a train. Welcome to the latest Cbeebies shopping task. Pretty much a pointless exercise as usual, as they barely had to do anything. To cut a long story short, they failed at last and were put on an economy budget, which of course you know, if you watch this era, won't last long

Basically, it was all journeys around the house were to be taken via the train, tickets were to be shown, a flag semaphore challenge which did involve more stirring, ranking housemates according to nominations, replacement bus service..... or stuff to that effect.

Now it gets REALLY riveting, as Twinks complimented Omar on his bone structure, while Lynx asks Rob more or less why he sings a lot, and Pauline and Catrin held peace talks.

The economy budget was causing tension, as hair gel was wanted on the list. Can't really eat that, but it won't matter anyway, remember economy budget = treats and parties most of the time.

On we move to Pauline or Rob's exit, and the usual woop woop from the rentamob on the premises. Cue the stashing of food and supplies in the house as we count down to the eviction, due to the economy budget.

And here comes the end of the economy budget in the form of the Gossip Machine. Simple instructions, spill the tea about fellow housemates and get a treat. Again to cut a long story short, they passed and got a Nando's takeaway. They've only been on economy for 5 minutes, at least make them suffer a bit before handing things out to them. Encourage laziness and lack of effort when they can get things on tap...

In a bizarre segment, Twinks playfully said 'her coven' would take care of Frankie on the outside....

Rochelle then went into her Nikki impersonation mode saying she would leave over losing a nail. Not the first time she has threatened to leave, why don't BB just call her bluff and open the door for her....

Remember all those years ago, Ulrika Jonsson was constantly threatening to leave and by some luck, she ended up going on to win? Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself with Rochelle.....

A tease of a showmance between Twinks and Pauline, with Pauline hiding a bottle of wine. Pauline trying to make peace, although the damage has already been done in terms of the edit so feels like a lost cause. Before Pauline's exit, Yasmin and Omar made peace.

As stated, and indeed to no great shock, Pauline was evicted and still we are stuck with the boring men. Hopefully it will be all males on the chopping block this coming week, let's see how BB twist things this week, although I do wish it was just the conventional one in, two names and out and EVERYONE does it.

After Pauline's interview it was announced that the next theme was House of Power, not really liking the sound of that. Head of House? Rich side poor side? Only some have the power to nominate? The possibilities are endless.

Worst luck, Gemma Collins was announced as the next celebrity houseguest, lucky us. The way they were going on about her, you would think a megastar was going in there. Please don't indulge her.... As soon as she went in, she said she was only in there for 48 hours and couldn't say much about the outside, but in the same breath began dropping outside world hints. Goodness knows what she will tell them while we can't watch and will conveniently end up on the editing room floor, guess we'll have to watch their behaviour carefully in the next few episodes, although the nominations stuff in the shopping task was bordering on manipulation of future nominations

Anyway, this House of Revelations chapter has closed, and time to move on to House of Power with a great sense of dread.....

Usual shout out to BB on Blast, listen to their latest stuff right here

Until next time, keep on rocking...
