Big Brother UK 2018 - Episode 23 - All Fall Down

Welcome one and welcome all as we move into another Veto episode.

The participants so far will be Lewis and Akeem who were nominated by the housemates, Kenaly and she was nominated by the viewers, and Cian who currently tops the coin leaderboard. 2 more housemates will be chosen by Cian in this episode

Lights on for another day as the siren pipes up for Veto day, and off we go

Lewis already talking, or should that be whining, to poor Big Brother about not getting much sleep and the other housemates screaming, Zoe in particular is mentioned. Always something with him, why doesn't the dingbat just leave and give the majority of us a break. I know he has anxiety issues, but please can he just shut the hell up and at least try and enjoy his experience

In the kitchen, Cameron is talking about Lewis and Isabella is talking about the next evictee if he doesn't win the Veto next week, in Hussain. Tomasz doing what he does best in laying on his stomach and planting some seeds with Hussain. Hussain is also the subject of conversation with Lewis and Zoe, and not in a good way.

A nice little harmless butterfly flies towards Cameron, and causes a massive over-reaction from the man in question. Bobbing and weaving from Cameron as he tries to avoid the butterfly to everyone's amusement.

In the bedroom it's Cameron, Tomasz and Hussain. The two originals tell the one new (and probably ex next week) housemate about his general attitude since coming into the house. Wasted breath, I assure you. Hussain's not taking this experience seriously, that much is obvious.

Veto competition

Sian and Zoe are the two housemates chosen by Cian, completing the Veto lineup

Total Domination is the name of the game and here is how it works. In short the first housemate to get their domino run to the finish line wins the Veto. When a player wants to attempt a domino run, they must wave their respective flag and everyone must stop. If the domino run is unsuccessful, that player must start again.

It should noted that the tables are very wobbly and the slightest knock could be disastrous

After much effing, Jeffing and failed attempts, LEWIS is victorious and wins the Veto

He's very much happier now, and lucky us and poor Big Brother, he's around for another week and no more threats about wanting to leave. At least for now anyway.

Shortly afterwards, he decides to no great shock to use the Veto on himself, so it will be a Akeem v Kenaley shootout to see who goes in the next eviction.

Back to house matters

THAT Cameron narrative is back again, as he thinks it will help more people come out. Not going to go into this too much, as it's been discussed to death on forums and social media.

Back with Hussain, and now it's Akeem's turn to be trolled by Hussain. This guy is something else, but fair do's at least he is giving people something to talk about even if it's not for the right reasons.

Cameron is now back to type, as he whines about a joke played on him as in Akeem farting on his bed. Akeem tries to apologise, but Cameron is having none of it. Grow up, Cameron, nuff said. Miserable (insert swear word here). Now the other half of the miserable duo in Lewis is revving up about constant spin the bottle games and sex talk. Welcome to the new incarnations of Statler and Waldorf, ladies and gentlemen.

More Lewis discussion in the garden and Hussain talks to the man of the moment, and needless to say it DOES get heated. Always in the right, always in the right, always in the right.....Sort of sums up Lewis, and sorry to give people reminders of a certain loathed winner with that quote, that wasn't deliberate.

Lewis and Brooke seem to be getting closer, but a lot of people saying she's only latching onto him to soften the blow when he finds out she nominated him. Oh boy just wait until he finds out everything she has been doing behind his back. Off the Christmas card list she will go.

Tomasz says he will claw his way back up the leaderboard. Would like to see you try, pal. His downfall is going to be wonderful when it happens.

Meanwhile, Sian (who?) and Isabella are discussing Lewis. Sian is so BORING, and it's a shame she is probably going to cruise to the final week. All we see her doing is smoking and drinking or parked on the smokers bench, or all three at the same time. Do something, Sian, earn your stripes and give us something to work with.

Guess that's it for this episode...To be continued in Episode 24, when the next shopping task begins

Final thoughts

Very heavy Lewis episode today. He certainly is a Marmite character, in that some people love him and the rest hate him. There is no in between. In stark contrast, there is Sian. Not that it will probably matter after this series, but P45 for whoever thought she would be a good housemate. Is she ever going to do ANYTHING in there of note. At this rate her best bits will be a blank screen and that's being generous. We're fast approaching the halfway point of this series, dam it, just do SOMETHING, Sian.

Hussain more than likely out next week, if he doesn't win the Veto of course. Tomasz's downfall is also long overdue, but can't see him going even if he is on the block next week.
