Hello, citizens of Big Brother World, as we head into another week and moving on from Millie's eviction where Tays left after 0.00001% of chaos, and BB in their infinte wisdom or in other words, can't help themselves, dropped Philip in the soup when they outed him as Tays's deputy
Although you wouldn't think the housemates were mad at him, judging by the non reaction in the episodes after the first eviction. More on that later possibly....
Deep breaths, as you may have seen, Jedward were announced as the next ones in, and despite misgivings they didn't spill too much thankfully, in fact they didn't even need to be in there the way these housemates are blowing up the house by themselves. When Jedward did come out though, and credit to them, yes that did hurt to say that, they did call out the showmances and even better demanded the live feed on their social media when they came out, which in case you missed it was sacrificed on the altar to make way for the celebrity fees
Johanne v The House, Rochelle trying and failing badly with her Nikki (RIP) impersonation in the Diary Room, Rob and his West End singing and dancing auditions, and yes unfortunately the showmances have ramped up with Right Guard (Lynx) and Chelsey and Bro Omar innit and the Clueless wannabe Rhianna... Rhianna wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot barge pole on the outside in my opinion, their circles are so different, and he can barely speak English with all this urban gangster crap. E iz not wicked, bro....
So what better way to start than the very short visit of Jedward, who popped out of a giant pink egg with most of the housemates wondering who they were, especially Rochelle. I know a lot like her, but jeez she hasn't got a clue about this show, bless her. It was revealed that things were to be done in pairs until further notice, and that Jedward would be picking the pairs.
The pairs turned out to be:
Charlotte and Philip
Chelsey and Frankie
Johanne and Samuel
Pauline and Omar
Rhianna and Lynx
Rochelle and Rob
Yasmine and Harry
Bunch of silly games involved, and there is a leaderboard to whichever pair finishes top wins immunity
We started off with Jepic Pairs, another attempt at stirring with questions like Who is the biggest buzzkill which ended up causing more ructions as Johanne got the honour of biggest buzzkill. It only takes a few words with this lot and they are off on one going at each others throats.
Then Jedward gave Rhianna some 'advice' which ended up getting back to the Love Island crew and Right Guard storming off to Jedward, who were relaxing in the tub, and I think you know which way this went, as Jedward splashed Lynx, and he ended up having to be held back by everyone else
To cut a long story short, Johanne and Samuel won the immunity, but the tension was still in the air
Jedward had been moved to somewhere else or else there would have been blood on the bedroom carpet by morning, due to the near punch up the previous night. But somebody out there had other plans for that day, with tennis balls flying in over the wall with all sorts of messages such as:
"Lynx has a girlfriend"
"There is still a secret mole"
"Tiffany Pollard is arriving next week"
Members of the public or production staff, YOU decide
How many times has BB had to repeat themselves with this lot, whether it be trying to get their attention, telling someone to leave, go to the diary room or even go indoors immediately....
And now to that age old problem, in which the housemates KNOW they can talk about nominations without fear of a serious punishment and get some quick airtime, and this was no different.
Too many to do jail time, so it was cleaning detail for Chelsey, Frankie, Omar, Rihanna, Pauline and Yasmin. Wow, that will teach them a lesson they will never forget....not. No wonder they laugh at BB every time they are called out, and start rubbing their hands at the airtime they get when they are punished.
But in a miracle, there were normal(ish) nominations in which Pauline and Chelsey found themselves on the chopping block. Chelsey I can understand, and it does look quite inevitable she will go, at least I hope so, and then hopefully we can concentrate on picking off one half of the other showmance in Ali G wannabe or Clueless wannabe. Surprised Philip wasn't in the mix, given he was outed as the mole's deputy, must have spun some fancy words to them once the eviction was done. Of course if he did we didn't get to see them due to no live feed. They can do a feed, but choose not to. Really sucks.
By the way I am liking they have to gather on the sofas for nominations, prefer that to the way it was done from Series 8 to the end of the dark era when they could just lounge around all over the house, adds to the tension with all those looks and side glances to the sofas wondering who nominated who
Did you know that Rhianna said in passing to Chelsey, she would leave with her if Chelsey left....Yes please, get rid of both showmances in one swoop and save a lot of money on our part. Right Guard and Ali G would have to find something else to do, instead of floating around sucking the faces of their bits of fluff in there.
Now on to the Cbeebies shopping task where as usual the rules are as clear as mud, and is all down to BB to decide whichever way they want their stories to go. How fitting it's a Noah's Ark type task where they have to work in pairs in various tasks. I sure miss the days when EVERYONE had to put effort in from the start, rather than just sitting around napping. Remember those days?
No doubt there will be a shedload of stirring thrown in where it's not needed with this lot, wouldn't be an ITV era shopping task without it.
Oh yeah, Rochelle and Johanne went at it again, this time over a chicken. Although to be fair the chicken was very under-done along with the rice. Cherry on the cake time, as BB punished them for nominations talk again, and yes they laughed. Little wonder seeing what the punishment was in washing and peeling carrots. That was quite a conversation they had when talking about nominations, come on BB grow some cajones this lot are really walking all over you.
And so we move onto eviction night, and may I say a quiet woop woop to start, but anytime Chelsey's name came up VERY loud boos, make of that what you will.
But first the last embers of the shopping task, and somehow they managed to pass again and get another luxury budget. Will say the edit is working towards trying to get Pauline out next week, making her look irritable when Rochelle had to make some sacrifices to the shopping list and then making her look overconfident about staying in there when the whole world knew Chelsey would be going.
That was indeed the case when it came to chucking out time, Chelsey out and it's a case of one showmance down, one to go. Rhianna looking to end things with Ali G, aka Omar, and go with Lynx. I feel a triangle storyline coming on with those 3, lucky us if that is the case eh?
So Week 2 comes to an end, with the next theme announced as House of Nothing, and no celebrity announced yet, and some breaking news.....
Charlotte has left the house after deciding it's not for her and will not be coming back, whether there is a replacement on the way we'll have to wait and see.
What does House of Nothing entail? THEY decide and what celebrity would fit into this theme, wonder if they backed out of putting Tiffany Pollard in there after the tennis balls found their way in....
Anyway, think that about covers most of the week that was, and we move on to week 3
