House of Horror summary and thoughts (BBUK 2026)

Another week down, as we head towards the final week via House of Horror

It's close to midnight, and BB's lurking in the dark, under the moonlight they're preparing a week which almost stop your heart. The housemates try to scream..... and they do, boy do they scream and so does the special guest entering the house....

Enter Tiffany Pollard and her shrill voice, and jeez she talks too much. So much so she spoils the surprise for one housemate, and denies us a look for the ages

Yes they heard the crowd yet again as Harry left, trying to make heads nor tails (or should that be brown trousers time) of what the latest mob outside were chanting. The usual mundane Sunday episode with a less said the better big pile of poo stirring task, or the latest attempt anyway, which by the way fell flat on its face, but they got a takeaway anyway later that evening.

During the task, Rochelle's attempted redemption arc continued with her buddying up, or should that be crawling to Twinks, and apparently clearing the air. There were also honest opinions as well, but like I said less said the better.

Philip and Rhianna had a tirade about Rochelle. These two have got more faces than all the clocks in the world that are humanly possible

Yawn, back we go to the nomance or at least a discussion of it where Rhianna wanted to sleep alone while Omar had man talk with Frankie and Lynx, stating he still acknowledged. Just a shame he wasn't removed while they had the chance. Samuel told Rochelle to 'keep on going'. Less said about that episode the better.

Anyway, we swiftly move on with BB finally revealing House of Horror, and Rhianna was lamenting being apart from Omar as the nomance continued to be mentioned. Yawn, double yawn, who the hell cares

Secret mission time for Yasmin, as she bumped into Florence Frightingale, who offered her trick or treat to which Yasmin went for the treat, and she would have to do some secret missions.

  • Convince 3 housemates to go 'ghost hunting'
  • Follow a housemate (Rhianna) secretly
  • Look into a housemate's eyes until they got uncomfortable (Lynx)
  • Convince a housemate to look into the kitchen mirror (Rochelle)
To be honest, she didn't really succeed but as it's near the end, she won the treats anyway which cocktails all round and a cauldron of sweets. Meh, whatever.....

The regular agony aunt aka Twinks then comforted Lynx, after he had revealed he was suffering from body dysmorphia, while Samuel and Rochelle had a conversation about the chanting and that Rochelle doesn't trust Philip, but nothing really came of the conversation from what we saw....

Oh look, back to the nomance and they were back together after another grim conversation, oh Rhianna your sister warned you. Open your eyes to this bad one, nothing but sadness ahead if you two proceed on the outside.

On to nominations, with a jump scare in the Diary Room for each housemates, but joy upon joy it was normal nominations. How we have missed you, normal nominations.

To cut a long story short, on the chopping block would be Rochelle, Samuel, Twinks, Philip and Rhianna. Well not too bad I suppose, but we will be stuck with one of the terrible trio for the final week. Meanwhile, Philip was feeling very confident about staying, what's the saying? twice the pride double the fall.

Unlike Twinks, who was in a sort of 'how dare they nominate me' mood which has been quite contagious this year, do they not know what show they are on sometimes, evidently not....

More big pile of poo stirring followed, less said the better again, and then back to the usual tennis ball trickery revealing tidbits about the outside.... Change the record, BB, it's getting tiresome now. But speaking about the outside world, it was about to get a whole lot worse in a little while.

Rhianna and Rochelle drifted further apart, who f'ing cares.... They made their beds this series, now they have to lay in them.

Rochelle once again threatened to leave, does she not know the door is right there if she wants to go. This does not bode well, if she makes the final week there is a great danger she could win. Threatening to leave and constant tears worked for Ulrika Jonsson, hopefully it will NOT work for Rochelle. There are reasons which I won't go into here why she shouldn't win if she makes it to the final week... 'nuff said!!!

Now you know how Twinks felt when she went in, and you and Philip buried her every chance you got, Rochelle. No sympathy from me at all

Now, welcome to the Tiffany Pollard as almost immediately she steals the spotlight from minute one, as in her coming in via a massive box in the garden, after housemates were given a Halloween quiz. New York persona in full swing, and a voice that can give one severe ear-ache. She immediately makes things all about herself as she dances on the table, notice nobody confronting her about that like they did with Rob, when he did the same.

By the way some housemates weren't invited to said party, causing Catrin to have a tantrum in the Diary Room. Well you should have been a winner then, you can't throw your toys out of the pram you're on the TV for all to see.

Ding Dong, seconds out for Tiffany and Philip as she absolutely spills about outside perception to him, and denying us the Sezer jaw drop if he goes. This wouldn't be the first time she will spill, but BB do nothing to stop her. Isn't the whole point of BB being cut off from the outside world, but they have really gone to town this series with family and friends, Jedward, Gemma and now Tiffany. They'll be playing back diary room conversations before too long, just my prediction not a spoiler as who knows what lurks in their heads backstage..... On they went for a few more minutes, more and more insults exchanged.

Rochelle made a vow to keep quiet so she didn't incur Tiffany's wrath, then on to a bizarre conversation about which housemates were alive or dead. Wonder which moment could be getting referenced there, surely not that over-rated moment involving Tiffany herself....

And so the night ends in tears for Rhianna, oh my heart bleeds, won't bore with the details... Let's just say a boring end to that particular episode

Philip still ranting about Tiffany by the way, if anybody cares, while Tiffany is on her own little planet saying 'ghosts had been riding her legs all night'.... Right, fine.

Shopping task time, and they have to win tickets and the winning ticket total for the luxury budget is sealed in a golden envelope. They'll pass this no trouble as BB can change the amount in the envelope any time they choose, and they rarely fail the final shopping tasks anyway

Tiffany was a mystic who had to provide aura readings
Twinks, Frankie and Lynx had tear heads off teddy bears to find tickets

The aforementioned aura readings caused another ding dong between Tiffany and Philip, causing Philip to again retreat to the Diary Room to vent. Tiffany's turn in the Diary Room where she had a go at Gemma, all very riveting stuff I may add. She then made the choice to join the peasants in the main bedroom, lucky them. But seeing Philip annoyed was nice, he's been shall we say out nastied by Tiffany since she arrived, and it is killing him.

Staying with Tiffany, she predicted Lynx and Rochelle were focused on winning while Rhianna was relying on her alliance....

The Tiffany show continued into Friday's eviction, with pistols still drawn between Tiffany and Philip. For the final part of the shopping task, it was basically sliding across a 'bloody' runway and knocking over coffins to earn more tickets. Not exactly taxing, is it. I mean is it just me or have most of these tasks been really easy this series...

And voila, luxury budget won, to perhaps no surprise to the viewing public. Back to the Tiffany show, and now she was giving Rochelle advice. Rochelle now saying she wanted to stay, but didn't want any more Johanne type arguments.

Finally, Tiffany was on her way, but not without scaring the five nominees inviting them on to her Ghost Train. Given the fact we saw all the nominees on the sofas at the start of the show, not much suspense or indeeds poops were given. Zilch zero nada.... And she was gone, although that wouldn't be last we would see of her. Her presence was mixed to say the least, some viewers like her being there and others did not.

Lots of reflection after she had gone as to the eviction, along with the usual sniping about the shopping list. One of the few pleasures of this show is the shopping list sniping, just unfortunate the main pleasure has gone from this series, as in Live Feed. Sadly missed, probably because the money was splurged on the various celebrities they lined up.

Before we said goodbye to the two evictees, Tiffany was interviewed.... But why? She'll have her moment on the Group Chat show that weekend.

Anyhoos, on to the main event of the evening and it was indeed goodbye to Philip and boy did this interview go sideways fast, no surprise given the lack of a studio to get away from the baying mob constantly screeching. Exit Rhianna afterwards, and of course conversations about Omar.... Yawn as always

And so ends House of Horror week, and into the final week we go.... Nomance temporarily over, but to be honest Omar has not shed a tear, nor did he bolt out of the door with Rhianna. Hmmmm if he supposedly cared so much....

As far as a rating goes, 5.5 eyes out of 10. Tiffany talked too much, and no real tension as to what the results were going to be in terms of the tasks and double eviction. The Sezer jaw drop was denied which most were looking forward to.

No more names announced to join the finalists, and it is House of Mystery to end the series. Get this, a possible double back door eviction to get the numbers down to 6 for Thursday's final, and then we have a reunion show on the Friday. Vote to win is open, but will freeze on Tuesday for said back door eviction/s.

For those in the UK, stay safe this week if you are heading out to any firework displays

Usual shout out to BB on Blast for all they do for the BB community, whether it be US, UK or Australia, check out their good work right here
