Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 19 - Power of Veto

A so far glorious week, citizens, with Jessica winning HoH and putting Aquaman and Trapjaw Jackson on the chopping block pre-Veto

The clock is ticking for Christie as this week is the last chance she can use her power, as in whoever wins the Veto Christie can give them the power to pick the replacement nominee. But she won't use it on the outsiders, only on her rapidly crumbling alliance pals.

Said alliance pals however are now looking for better options in moving further on in the game, but they know deep down they HAVE to win the Veto, as if an outsider wins it the Veto won't be used and Christie's power officially expires and Aquaman or Trapjaw are guaranteed to head to jury first.

Can Jessica succeed where Cliff monumentally bungled it, let us all find out

We pick up the action after the noms ceremony, and Jessica says she will put the final nail in Shit Shooters. To be fair Jessica, they have already done that themselves, but this will put the cherry on a very big cake. Meanwhile, Trapjaw and Aquaman are not talking anymore, and Trapjaw says he himself has to survive

Christie tells us it sucks Aquaman is on the block. Baby throwing her toys out of the pram I would say, as things stand her power is worthless. Aquaman is pretty confident Trapjaw will be out, and Analyse feels bad for Trapjaw as nobody is talking to him. That is so unfortunate, said no-one ever.

Trapjaw and Holly continue their showmance, if you can call it that. She would be well advised to kick him into touch, she can do a lot better than him. She wants to smooth things over with people, as her knowing Kat should never have come out and has to work hard to get the targets off their backs.

Aquaman is telling his remaining buddies he is going to win the Veto, and asks if anyone wants to be his houseguests choice should he draw it. Nick and Christie immediately volunteer. Tommy and Christie advise Aquaman not to be arrogant. This coming from the pair who are definitely connected, even though nobody knows it.

Off to Jessica and the outsiders, and she says she wants nominations to remain as they are. So do most of the viewers, just hope she doesn't do something stupid and waste all of the hard work she's done already. Nick then asks Jessica who she wants out, and she seems stuck on Aquaman. Nick doesn't know where he stands in the house, well he has been pretty much the inbetweener since his storyline in Bella went out the door.

Veto picks

Aquaman, Trapjaw and Jessica play automatically and joining them will be Kat, Tommy and Nick via random draw

Christie is making no secret of her dislike of Trapjaw and she is paranoid that him, Kat and Holly know each other. If she gets voted for the field trip twist, her paranoia is going to go through the roof and it will be a pleasure to see. She says Trapjaw wants her out, and her priority is getting him out and Aquaman safe. If we had our way out here, both of them would be out on their ear. She is hellbent on using her power should Aquaman win Veto and risk a pawn of Aquaman's choice going on the block.

Back to the showmance, and Trapjaw is certain Christie will use her power if Tommy or Aquaman win and he ends up going to jury. So he says he has to win to avoid any scenario that sees him go home.

Veto competition

Area 21 is the name of the game. Rules are that each competitor will board the spinning spaceship in turn, and after going for a spin will fire their rocket onto the game board in front of them. Whatever number it lands on will be their score. Lowest score in each round will eliminate that player, however everybody will get a prize, some good and some not so good. The houseguest eliminated in each round can swap their prize with someone else, and the overall winner can choose any prize.

Some of the punishments will be explained in due course

Eliminations and prizes:

1. Kat and she has the Veto for now
2. Aquaman and a trip to Hawaii

He swaps it for the Veto

3. Tommy and an Angry Alien

He swaps with Jack and now has the Veto

4. Trapjaw and BB Explorer

He swaps with Tommy and now has the Veto

5. Nick and he gets $5,000

He decides to hold on to the money, while Jessica as the winner gets Area 21 alien doctor

Naturally she swaps it for the Veto, and Trapjaw now has the alien doctor punishment

Jessica has all the power, woohoo!!!!!!! Even better, Christie's power is now officially expired. Not going well this week for the nasties of the house and boy, did we need this to happen with a steam roll being threatened.

Christie is now telling us Aquaman doesn't deserve to go, is she serious? Did we hear that correctly? The house is the last place he should be, and I am intrigued to see what kind of a reception Aquaman will get when he gets out of there. Jessica, meanwhile, is so happy and who can blame her. A lot of people were writing her off for many weeks calling her stupid, and look at her now. All the power and on the verge of something Cliff should have done weeks ago before he bungled his HoH.

Christie is hellbent on Trapjaw going, and tries to plant seeds with Jessica that Aquaman should stay. Jessica is not one for changing though, as she more or less tells us that Aquaman is out of there no matter what.

Christie's desperation to keep Aquaman in the house keeps growing as she pitches to Jack, Nick and Tommy about evicting Trapjaw. Blissfully unaware the man of the moment has been listening in and he says will talk to Jessica, and try and stir the pot to stay.

He then proceeds to tell Jessica about the others plan to try and lean towards voting him out, and then Nick's name pops up which prompts Jessica to work out Nick is playing both sides and that she won't hesitate to make a boss move should the situation demand it.

Tommy's punishment

After being summoned to the Diary Room, he comes back out dressed like a rocket as he got the BB explorer punishment. When he gets a signal from Big Brother, he must either travel at the speed of light, sound or smell. The missions will be called at random. What these three entail will be explained as and when they happen.

Veto ceremony

And straight away Tommy gets a mission to travel at the speed of smell. He runs round the table in the living area a few times, with a foul stench emitting from his costume. Kat in her infinite wisdom sprays some air freshener around while Tommy is doing his few laps.

Back to business, and Jessica has decided NOT to use the Veto. So it will Aquaman or Trapjaw heading to jury first, and also Christie's power is officially null and void as she cannot use it.

Jessica ia very certain Aquaman will go, while Christie says she won't let him go without a fight. Give it a rest, Christie, his game is over. Get over it and get on with your own game.

In a laughable closing segment, Aquaman says he's been a decent guy and he's tried to be loyal and trustworthy. Trapjaw says he's going to do everything he can to stay because Jack has more enemies than he does. You obviously don't know what's waiting out here for you and Aquaman, pal.

And that is that for another episode, as we move towards finding out who will be the first into the jury for this year.

Episode 20 is a mere stone's throw away, and it's going to be a pleasure to be waving goodbye to one of these two scumbags who should have gone long ago. Hopefully it will then be Christie, Tommy and Trapjaw for the field trip

Just reiterate for that, 1st place gets immunity, 2nd gets a punishment, 3rd goes on the block as the third nominee.

Hopefully the public will get it right and we will be rid of another one of the nasties, and I personally don't mind which one. In any case like I said earlier it will be fun watching Christie getting even more paranoid.

Anyways, in case you missed it, BB on Blast have dropped a new pod for your listening pleasure, where they discuss the recently aired first of three episodes about the late UK housemate Jade Goody, and also catch up with this series as well

Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 18 - HoH and Nominations

That was the week that was. First Holly wins HoH, and in essence Trapjaw Jackson as well, and she nominates Nick and Sam.

Nick won Power of Veto, and used it on himself. Holly then had to name a replacement which turned out to be Kat. Little did anyone know this would cause those cracks in Shit Shooters to become gaping big holes that completely tore them apart. More on that soon, as let's just say the fallout is quite spectacular as we will find out in this particular episode

And what makes it even sweeter is all the planning for the flip was for nothing.

The end of Shit Shooters is near, and very soon there will be a new Head of Household. Can someone from Shit Shooters win, or will the outsiders shift the balance of power within the house. Let us all find out.

So, Kat survived and naturally is very happy. Personally she's not the only one, and now she's guaranteed jury. Don't think she will win the whole thing but it's going to be fun watching her lighting up the house with her unintentional comedy.

And now one of the moments in this episode which has been promoted so heavily, in the Shit Shooters fallout.

It all starts off with Trapjaw telling Aquaman that he's certain Tommy and Christie are going to turn on them, and then says Holly and Kat know each other from the outside. If only he knew about Tommy and Christie.....

Aquaman then tells us that Trapjaw is saying don't trust Tommy and Christie, but he actually trusts them more than Trapjaw. He then reports to Tommy with what Trapjaw told him, including Holly and Kat knowing each other, to which Tommy claims he knew it.....Sure you did, Tommy. Seen this so many times on UK Big Brother when housemates claim to have rumbled a twist when they really haven't.

Tommy claims he was suspicious when Kat told him about a concert, and we are shown a flashback to that particular moment. He then puts two and two together, and decides he must take it upon himself to try and get a flipped vote to get Kat out.

Now, enter Christie into the room with Jack and Tommy, and they fill her in, their version of events, on Trapjaw trying to get them not to trust Aquaman and then flipping the vote. Aquaman then suggests reeling in Nick and Sam so as to further their game. Tommy has now moved onto Analyse, pitching the plan to flip the vote and Aquaman and Christie are doing the same with Nick and Nicole.

Pretty premature of Aquaman to be saying goodbye to Kat, he seems pretty confident Kat will go. But as we know, that won't be the case and I have to say it's quite fun watching all this planning knowing how the vote is going to go eventually.

Analayse, though, is somewhat reluctant to be in on this plan. Shit Shooters falling apart at the seams, and it's wonderful. Little do they know Holly has got her ear to the door, and she promptly runs off to tell Trapjaw. He promptly storms up to the room.

To say it was really awkward at this point would be a MASSIVE understatement, and Tommy confirms to Trapjaw there is a flip planned. Holly is strongly opposed to this saying there would be no benefit to that. Who needs someone to take the shot when all these clashing egos would turn on each other anyway.

Trapjaw and Aquaman don't seem to be getting along, as Aquaman basically tells Trapjaw to mind his own business when Trapjaw asks about the flip. Aquaman says there is no reason to flip. Next up is Holly telling Tommy she heard him talking, and Tommy says he is scared of the way Trapjaw is acting. Holly then fuels the fire by saying let's have a blowup if we are going to have one. Seconds out, ding ding....

Holly says Kat is for sure on Shit Shooters side. Tommy then blurts out that Trapjaw told Aquaman about Holly and Kat knowing each other. Needless to say, Holly is not happy with this.

Holly now saying she doesn't feel respected as an alliance member, and also that she's been left out of her own HoH. The same HoH she has let Trapjaw run for her?

Aquaman relays to Trapjaw about Holly feeling left out of the loop. And here we go, Christie gets in Trapjaw's face asking him what his problem is with her, and then claims he has been making suggestions that he wants her out and that she is the enemy. Well you are, Christie. She thinks the Shit Shooters may be over after this meeting. Trapjaw in his usual charming manner then tells her, are we going to have a discussion or are you going to yell at me.

Outside the door, everyone else can hear what's going on and they are obviously enjoying it, as are we all. Suddenly this game doesn't look like it's going to be a steam roll after all.

Cliff told us give them enough time and they would break up, and look what's happening now. This coming from the guy who completely f'd up his HoH. Seems I was wrong in thinking he would not make it to jury, but he has. Just a matter of WHEN not IF.

Christie brings up the point about Kat and Holly being at a concert together, to which Holly denies knowing Kat. Christie then queries why Trapjaw would cast a rogue vote without telling them, and he replies with to keep their rear ends off the block. Christie is really getting paranoid now, and I dread to think what she would be like if she was voted on to the field trip twist or found herself on the block. Think her head would explode with all the pent up paranoia.

Tommy is trying to defuse the situation, and just before he storms out tells Christie who it is who makes her coffee in the morning when she's mad. Speaking of Tommy, he's still certain there is a trio in there who know each other. Holly asks Kat straight out if they went to Stagecoach together, to which Kat denies. Aquaman is not buying it, as he still accuses Holly and Kat of lying. Christie then says Trapjaw can't be trusted and he's a snake. Pot kettle black, Christie. Christie then storms out of the conversation, claiming she doesn't know who to trust.

We then see the elusive Jessica, who thinks its pretty disheartening not to be included in many house conversations. She feels pretty close to Kat, and feels there is no way to save her. Little does she know what's happening with the vote. I assure you, Jessica, don't worry.

Now Trapjaw is saying he can't trust Aquaman. The feeling is more than mutual, pal. Christie is trying her best to convince Tommy not to get rid of Kat. Now Tommy is calling Kat a mole who moled her way into the alliance. Five of the Shit Shooters are trying to iron things out, Trapjaw is saying how he had Kat in his back pocket, and interrupts Tommy in mid sentence saying he volunteered to go on the block for them. He claims he told Aquaman on day 2 that he thought Holly and Kat knew each other. Aquaman chimes in with the way Trapjaw told him, he only found out today. Trapjaw and Aquaman keep going back and forth, until eventually Trapjaw walks out.

Christie now pitches to Aquaman about keeping Kat in, saying she didn't think Kat and Holly were friends, only that they knew each other. Jack and Christie hug it out. As of now Shit Shooters are dead, or so Aquaman tells us.

Everyone clear now? Good. Let's move on to the.....

HoH competition

In case you missed it, it's a True or False competition. Houseguests have to look around the Expo set in front of them and memorise quite a lot and will answer True or False questions on said Expo. Straight elimination and whoever is last houseguest standing will be the new HoH.

Julie will not be asking the questions, and that duty falls on outgoing HoH, Holly as she won't be playing as she is outgoing HoH, so therefore not allowed to compete.

Order of elimination

1. Trapjaw
2. Cliff and Analyse
3. Nick and Tommy
4. Christie
5. Aquaman

So it's an outsider guaranteed for HoH......

6. Nicole
7. Kat

Staggeringly and astonishingly, Jessica is the new HoH

Tommy shouts about a plot twist with Jessica winning, and that he doesn't know where Jessica's head is at and hopes it is not him.

Understandable celebrations from the outsiders, and the final nails going into the Shit Shooters coffin as Christie walks out on them, followed by Analyse.

Holly says she will continue working with Kat, but doing that brings in Trapjaw. Why not just kick him into touch, I know I would at this point. He's done nothing but control Holly, and she deserves a lot better than having him hang off her.

Jessica is feeling very empowered, and she's going to enjoy watching the enemy scatter like cockroaches. Go get them, girl. No more than they deserve for the way they have treated everyone else in the house.

Nominations ceremony

And just when the now defunct Shit Shooters week can't get any worse, Trapjaw and Aquaman are nominated by Jessica.

While Trapjaw wants to fight for his place, Aquaman cries us a river. Wash those gallons of tears away, pal. You have brought this on yourself, and we are all looking forward out here to wave you or Trapjaw off to jury should you still be on the block after Veto.

To be continued in Episode 19, when we see who will win the Veto. One of the outsiders to win, please, to continue the week of misery for the scumbags. They should know what it's like to be on the receiving end.....

Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 17 - Eviction

The last week before we start seeing the jury form is nearly at an end, and in case you missed it Holly is the outgoing HoH, and facing the chop will be Sam or Kat.

Kat volunteered to be the pawn to take out Sam, but a few developments before this episode on the live feeds seem to make it less cut and dry that Sam will actually go.

After a much controversial Veto competition, not in terms of the result of course, but the insertion of live sheep which were obviously distressed with the Veto players charging and grabbing at them, Nick won Veto and used it on himself. Leading to Kat volunteering to be the pawn, probably not a wise move on her part as sometimes it does backfire.

And let's not forget, one more week for Christie to use her power as in giving the Veto holder the power to pick the replacement nominee

On with the show, and Julie does go hell for leather promoting previously mentioned coverage of a possible flip which could save Sam at the last minute. Will admit I am genuinely nervous, as Kat needs to stay. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but she is such a breath of fresh air in this toxic house. Not to mention really funny, albeit unintentionally.

Shortly after the Veto ceremony has concluded, Nick feels sorry for Sam and Holly claims that Nick and Sam's friendship has been detrimental. Kat is feeling pretty pleased about volunteering about being the pawn, while Sam says he's not dead yet and doesn't have much ammo on Kat.

Analyse claims Sam makes her laugh, which Sam picks up on a vote to stay but knows she is not really pulling the strings in the alliance. A pang of guilt from Analyse follows, saying she knows Shit Shooters want Sam out, but can't find a way to save him.

Finally the poison ivy punishment for Tommy and Christie comes to an end, and in his usual style Tommy goes straight into overacting mode to celebrate.

Kat and Holly convene in the HoH room, with Kat claiming she could plant seeds within the alliance to break them up. Kat says Christie and Tommy don't want a final 6 with couples, and are already planning their next move. Holly claims suspicions about Christie, so will keep eyes on her.

Analyse now with Holly, and they are discussing Christie. Looks like further fractures in Shit Shooters. They claim Christie has loose lips, and then discussion turns to the manipulation with Cliff. The words control freak are more or less bandied around, and Holly claims Christie makes decisions for everyone else with talking to them.

Speaking of Christie, she is talking with Cliff about how he is doing. Cliff says there are four powerful people in there, and that Christie and Tommy have to start winning stuff, and that he himself can start proving himself. The same guy who completely bungled his own HoH.

He goes on to say that he also been planting seeds, in the slim hope he can take the credit for breaking up the couples. Christie claims she and Tommy will be picked off first if it came down to couples. She says she needs to start building an army, because war is about to begin.

Holly and Trapjaw Jackson discuss Christie, and her reluctance to go to final six with couples, and Trapjaw puts two and two together saying it would explain why Tommy and Christie would be so close. Holly says Christie is cold, and is afraid she's doing Christie's handiwork. Trapjaw then says he has been hearing things about Christie, and if he wins HoH he will work towards taking Christie out.

Going for broke, Sam makes an immediate play to start breaking up with the couples. He tells Trapjaw that Christie was on board with Cliff taking the shot at Trapjaw or Aquaman. Trapjaw says he and his squeeze, Holly, have been suspicious of Christie for a while, and Sam is confirming the doubts he's been having. Sam makes a last ditch effort to appeal to stay in, and would work with Trapjaw and Holly. Additional if Jack is on board as well, Sam could well stay.

Shit Shooters, or what it seems to be left of them soon, continue their obsession with Nicole saying she should have gone up. Trapjaw relays the intel he got from Sam to Aquaman. Aquaman is stunned that Christie would take the shot. Baton down the hatches I say, Shit Shooters about to go down in flames or a few members lighter. Trapjaw says Christie would have someone else take the shot for her. Talk then turns to Sam, who Aquaman is keen on recruiting for the alliance and is also keen on jettisoning Christie.

Almost voting time, so Julie talks to the houseguests about various things, and then we get some pointless filler which is the flash mob dance from the live feeds. Won't go into too much detail about that, so let's move swiftly on to the eviction. Will admit at this point I am genuinely nervous, as Kat NEEDS to stay in there. As if I haven't stressed that enough already.....

Eviction

As per usual, the nominees can't vote

To cut a long story short, everyone who could vote voted out SAM, and it's a 9-0 vote to get rid of him so none of that drama, and am very pleased Kat has managed to stay.

Sam's interview

Julie talked about what happened in the house before this episode, and it was first Sam was out, then he wasn't, then he was, wasn't..... Sam admits he came clean about Christie telling him a load of BS, and asked her why she was withholding information if she wanted him out so badly. Sam then claims the credit for planting the seeds.

He then tells Julie that Kat may have cried more than he did..He says he missed his family so much, and when you are not around them in the house, you have to hold those feelings in. A glimmer of hope when Sam says Aquaman may go after Trapjaw if he wins HoH.

Off goes Sam, and now we finally get introduced to the next twist of the summer as in the Big Brother Field Trip. America will vote three of the houseguests to play in a competition. Winner gets immunity for the week, 2nd place gets a punishment, and 3rd place will be the 3rd person on the block with the two nominees. Can already feel some good vibes that some of Shit Shooters will get those three places. There is a but, in that this vote will NOT affect this week, but it will kick in the week after.

HoH competition

As outgoing HoH, Holly is not eligible to play in this one. Julie announces to them that from now whoever is evicted next will take the first seat in the jury house, signalling the start of the final straight to the end.

Camp Expo is the name of this game, and here is how it works. Memory comp and houseguests have to study various advertisements. There is a time limit to this studying, and then once time is up they will be asked a series of True or False questions based on what they have had to observe. The last houseguest standing will be the new HoH, and we leave them to their studies as the end credits roll.

To be continued in Episode 18, where we will find out who is the new HoH and who they will nominate

And that, my friends, is it for this episode

Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 16 - Power of Veto

Another uncomfortable episode to write up tonight, this time it's not the houseguests but what the Veto competition is all about.

Honestly I am losing heart with this season, as it does look like it's going to be yet another one with a one alliance steam roll, with Nick and Sam who are now broken away from the rest on the block, and the situation is looking incredibly grim for the rest of the house

Just think it's not right how Trapjaw Jackson and Aquaman in particular have been allowed to be as racist, sexist and bigoted as they like, and also with Trapjaw cheating while being a Have Not.... It comes to something when even the fans are drawing up petitions to have one or both removed, or at least be pulled up with some of the stuff they are saying and doing.

Anyways, back to this episode and like I said, it was an uncomfortable Veto competition watching those poor real sheep being charged at and grabbed by the houseguests. More about that later.

We kick off where the nominations ceremony left off, and as expected Trapjaw has completely taken over Holly's HoH, telling her how proud he is of her. She says she is just doing as she is told by her alliance, or in this case by Trapjaw.

Sam and Nick are discussing who they would pick if the houseguest's choice token was drawn, to which they agree Jessica or Cliff. Sam thinks Cliff could be trusted. Yeah right, he couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery given how his HoH week went.

Nicole thinks there is a good chance one of them as in herself, Kat, Jessica or Cliff could go up should Nick or Sam.

Analyse is with Christie, Kat and Holly wondering who will be picked for Veto. Kat raises her hand and volunteers to go on the block. Kat tells us about the final 2 she has agreed with Holly, and wants them to think she's helping that side of the house. Holly says Kat is a genius, and Analyse is also down with this idea. Kat says this could either backfire or work really well and help her game.

Veto picks and competition

And now we get to the uncomfortable part. Holly, Nick and Sam play automatically.

Holly draws Tommy, Sam picks Cliff via the houseguests choice token, and Nick draws Jessica. Aquaman will host the competition.

Basically they will be rounding up sheep that have number jackets on them from 1-9. It will be tournament style, and two houseguests each will face off against each other in straight knockout as in rounding up the sheep who's numbers add up to the total on the screen, and the first to ring the corral bell will advance, while the other houseguest will be eliminated. Last houseguest will win HoH, and a reminder Christie does still have her Chaos power.

Nick v Jessica is the first match up, to which Nick goes through and Jessica is eliminated
Holly v Sam, Holly goes through and Sam is eliminated
Cliff v Tommy, Tommy goes through and Cliff is eliminated

Holly v Nick, Nick is through and Holly is eliminated

Tommy v Nick, Nick is the winner and therefore wins Veto. No indication from Christie about using her power, but there's plenty of time to go in this episode

Poor sheep, having those houseguests charging and grabbing at them. They must have been terrified, not a good idea to put real animals in there. I sincerely hope that is the only time we see live animals on the show.

Holly now saying she's conflicted on who to put up on the block, as Nick is sure to use the Veto on himself.

Christie says to Holly that these things were sent to try us, or words to that effect, and it's natures way of saying Sam is the bigger threat. Analyse says Kat is sketchy, and that she never talks game with anyone. This coming from someone who has practically been non existent in there. Holly then remembers that Kat has volunteered to be the pawn this week, but she is very tempted to put the equally adorable Nicole.

Back to the poison ivy business with Christie and Tommy, and now instead of red blotches, or makeup as it's more commonly known they completely covered with camomile lotion. To say they look stupid would be a massive understatement.

In a conversation between Sam and Holly, Sam says he feels like a dead man walking and wants Holly to put someone on the block who has baggage. He assures Holly he wouldn't go after her, and doesn't have a beef with her. Holly mentions Nicole, claiming she has played both side. No, the person who did that was evicted, or hadn't you noticed.

Sam likes this idea as he could campaign, and Nicole could go and he could work with Trapjaw and Holly. Holly says there are big threats that need to go and she has aligned with them. One of them has been running your HoH, a little something else you haven't noticed. However she doesn't want to take the shots, and if Nicole gets in power (highly unlikely that she ever will) she will take out an alliance member for sure.

Christie seems somewhat confused thinking how Nicole is seen as this big threat. Tommy tells her to do what's best for her game. Tommy then tells Analyse Holly is targetting Nicole, to which Christie thinks they are all being played. Is this girl paranoid or what, and it wouldn't be the first time either. Christie says if Holly and Trapjaw want to break away from Shit Shooters and make a little alliance, then that's perfectly fine

Analyse is wondering why Christie and Tommy are getting so paranoid. They are in an alliance of their own, stupid, or hasn't it dawned on you yet. She then reports to Trapjaw and Holly about her concerns, to which Trapjaw, in his ever so gentlemanly manner, says Christie can go and do one. Surprisingly Holly suddenly says nobody tells her what to do. Seriously? She's made a good job of it so far with her HoH. Trapjaw then storms off to Christie and Tommy, to 'clear the air' as he doesn't like people in his alliance linking him and Holly to Sam and Nick. HIS alliance? Did we just hear that correctly, since when did he become the big boss.

He tells Christie and Tommy, that he wants to make it clear that it's Holly's HoH, and not his and Holly's. Oh so that's why you've been telling her what to do since she's been HoH then. No self awareness at all, another crime on his Big Brother charge sheet.

Trouble in paradise maybe as Holly follows him in shortly afterwards, saying she told him not to confront them which causes Trapjaw to storm back out. Christie then finds out Analyse reported to the now not so happy couple, and will try and smooth things out with her

Speaking of said couple, back to the hammock they go. She brings up about her telling him not to confront Christie and Tommy, and he is such the charmer. Now telling her to stop barking at him like a dog, and she says Analyse is trying to put a wedge between them. If she is, she looks like she is succeeding at the moment, the way they are carrying on.

Staying with Holly, and she tells us she is re-thinking her nominations. Analyse, Nicole and Kat's names are dropped.

Veto ceremony

Nick decides to use the Veto on himself, to no great shock. Christie does not use her Panic power. As seen earlier Kat volunteered to go on the block as a pawn, and indeed Holly chooses her as the replacement nominee. Reason being that Kat does not talk much game and nobody knows where her head is at.

Holly says it's too early to take a shot at Shit Shooters, as Kat is a safe pawn. Sam reckons he is screwed unless he can plant some seeds to get the target off him and onto Kat.

To be continued in episode 17, when Kat or Sam will take the walk to Julie. Will be a pity if we lose Kat, she does provide the unintentional comedy in this house of horrors. Want her to get to at least to jury, at least then she can carry on being funny in the jury house. Absolutely rooting for Kat to stay in.

Reminder that Rob has a Podcast will be on the air shortly after the eviction episode, and you can catch up with any episodes missed on his site, and it is quite an extensive archive over there. Roundtables, live feed updates, episode discussion....The list is endless

Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 15 - HoH conclusion and Nominations

Fresh week in the house of horrors, and Bella has had her marching orders by a vote of 8-2 and the endurance HoH comp is well underway, but it won't be Jessica or Nicole as they fell off their vines at the end of the last episode

Christie still has her Panic power, but is running out of time to use it. Cliff failed to get it flushed as he fell for her manipulation in keeping a promise to her, and effectively sealing Bella's fate. Something which played into Shit Shooters hands by the way, as Christie was 50/50 on using her power, and now Cliff has essentially shortened his time in the house by a few weeks. By my reckoning he will be very lucky to make jury.

Word of warning, the first 30 minutes of this episode are dedicated to the HoH comp, and only about 18 minutes are on house action which does include the HoH's nominations, and also the return of WHO WANTS TO SEE MY HOH ROOM plus all the house action from those 18 minutes, what there is of it.

Right, think that's about everything and now let's see who is next in power, and remember as outgoing HoH, Cliff is not eligible to compete.

We pick up the action a few minutes before the last episode left the airwaves, and apart from Cliff it's all hands and feet on vines and as you know already.

Basically, whoever hangs on the longest is the new HoH for this week, but there will be added entertainment. Each houseguest, except Cliff who's not competing, will draw a token from a nearby box and the 2 who draw the 2 poison ivy tokens will get a not so nice surprise when the comp is over.

Nick says he has to win this comp, as all eyes are on him and Sam this week to go on the block. Aquaman says just that, and Christie says she is soley responsible for Bella going, and anyone winning this comp apart from Nick would be ideal for her game. Cliff admits his HoH didn't go quite to plan, holy understatement. It was a disaster, and now he's saying he will make inroads into the group. In your dreams, they'll screw you over as soon as they see fit.

As we knew already, Jessica fell first, and from the draw box it's a smiley face so no nasty surprise for her.

Jessica's time was 3 minutes, and after 5:52, Nicole is next to fall which she is not too happy about and she draws a smiley face as well from the box as well. She says she wants Nick and Sam to win so they can take a shot at the Shit Shooters, sound thinking. Cliff could have done that last week, but he blew it. Sorry for sounding like a broken record, but so cheesed off with Cliff. Ok, Bella wasn't exactly popular herself during her stay, but there was a big shot at Aquaman there or one of the other Shit Shooters and he didn't take it.

Sam is next to go, so all hope is beginning to evaporate that we will get a decent HoH and we will get stuck with a Shit Shooter. He is pinning his hopes on Nick taking this. Sam draws a smiley face, so surprise avoided for him.

All of a sudden a load of pink ooze fires at the remaining players, which unbalances Kat and Christie. Anyone would think it's sulphuric acid, the way Christie carries on. Anyways after a little talk with Jack, he tells her to drop. She then says she didn't want to win this HoH anyway, not the way to play this Big Brother format if you ask me. No room for cowardice. HOWEVER the upside is that she draws one of the two poison ivy tokens, and we will find out later in the episode what this entails.

Disaster for a few next, as after 17 minutes, Nick does fall and it's between Kat and who's left from the Shit Shooters to who will be HoH next. Nick draws a smiley face. Aquaman says he doesn't trust Kat, well she brings a darn sight more fresh air than you do to the house, pal. That's something in her favour, in fact I wouldn't mind seeing her as HoH to see your bigoted face and the grovelling would be well worth it.

Kat says she wants to win, and who can blame her. An HoH week with her in charge would be great, and I'm telling you know, she may be as mad as a box of frogs but she makes people out here smile as I have heard loads of good things said about her on various podcasts. She really is hellbent on getting Trapjaw Jackson out of there, as she had to put up with him in the Have Not room. Speaking of that, we then see a clip of him letting some gas go, and as she sprayed some air purifier around he stormed out of the room. Wassup wit that?

Hallelujah, we then see Aquaman fall, but the downside is that he doesn't draw the other poison ivy token. Analyse starts to struggle, but she is most determined to hang on and get this HoH no matter what.

Tommy is next to drop, and just like Christie says he didn't want to win this anyway, and adds that it is not yet his time to win a comp. He does draw the other poison ivy chip though, so it will be him and Christie taking ones for the team this week, and everything about this poison ivy stuff will be revealed in due course.

So now we are down to Trapjaw, Kat, Holly and Analyse. Absolutely willing Kat to do this, as you may or may not know Trapjaw and Holly, and Aquaman and Analyse had a kind of thing going in the house. You know as in the dreaded showmance. If Holly or Analyse win, it's technically a two player HoH as Trapjaw will tell Holly how to run things, and likewise Aquaman with Analyse.

Kat says she will try to stay on as long as she can because she really wants to outlast Trapjaw. But disaster nearly strikes as she loses her footing on one of the footholds, but manages to stay on through her need to outlast Trapjaw.

After 89 minutes off hanging on his vines, Trapjaw finally drops and it's going to be a guaranteed female HoH. Holly is now trying to cut deals to get people to drop, as in promising she won't put the people still on their vines on the block, and also that she wants to hear from her family. Kat wants to drop, but Analyse now chimes in saying she won't put Kat up. Unfortunately though two minutes after Trapjaw, Kat eventually drops, and a two player HoH is guaranteed. One of the two quiet girls in Holly or Analyse will be HoH, along with one of their squeezes.

Lucky us, eh? Another week of terror ahead with Trapjaw or Aquaman running the HoH telling one of the two ladies who to put up.

Christie does tell us all what we know already, in that one of the boys will take over this HoH no matter who wins. No shit Sherlock.

And a short while later, Analyse drops and HOLLY is the new HoH, or should that be Trapjaw. Analyse is none too pleased about this result, as Trapjaw was talking so much to Holly in those closing stages. Them's the breaks, Analyse. Go back to the wallpaper where you belong.

Already, Trapjaw is really happy. All that power for her, and you are going to take it from her pal. I really hope this particular showmance does not take off outside of the house. Nick is fearing for his future in the house, and prays someone puts a target on themselves to divert attention away from him. Cliff retrieves a few beers he left over from his HoH reign.

Nick and Sam know they are screwed with the pre-Veto nominations, and Sam knows he has to pull himself together. He goes to talk to Holly, mind you who has talked to her outside of the Shit Shooters, as like Analyse she has basically been non existent. Analyse is still whining about not winning the HoH, due to Trapjaw's jibber jabber with Holly. Christie is sympathetic as she points out he is somewhat overbearing and bossy.

Who wants to see my HoH

Take 2 as nobody is in the room when Holly says it the first time, but the usual rush ensues the 2nd time. Unlike Big Brother Canada, there is no Wendy's meal, so Holly doesn't have to choose someone to eat with, even if she did it's obvious who she would pick anyway. She reads out a letter from her parents, which causes her to get emotional.

Nicole says it is nice to see that side of Holly as she is so quiet in the house. Another holy understatement there, as we haven't seen her much apart when she's with Shit Shooters. Christie expresses her concerns about Trapjaw to Tommy. Now, in case you missed the early episodes, it has been a secret alliance between Christie and Tommy, as they know each other from outside as Christie dated one of Tommy's family members. She runs off a list about Trapjaw, as in the way he treats Holly, talks himself up, plays the hero, constantly moody, and jumps between Kat and Holly most of the time.

The man of the moment has made himself at home with Holly in the HoH room, and showing signs already of dictating how to run this HoH. She wants to put up Nick and Sam, which everyone is expecting, but he is suggesting Nicole saying it would be less of a hit and lessens the chance of the survivor coming after him and Holly.

Time for Kat's nightly episodic bit of unintentional comedy. Tonight she says she is a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and asks Cliff how the flags on the moon can flutter if there is no gravity. Cliff tells her there is gravity on the moon. She then think Tupac is still alive and living under a different name. Next up she think Avril Lavigne has died and been replaced by Melissa, whoever that is. Finally that Area 51 has aliens and they shouldn't be messed with.

That girl is so out there, so to speak, but in a good way. She HAS to stay in for at least a few more weeks.

Poison Ivy

No, Batman's foe is not going in there. Tommy and Christie are summoned to the Diary Room. They emerge a short while later in swimsuits and covered in red make up made to resemble blotches on their skin. They are not allowed to shower or go outside, and also will be 'quarantined' for the next few days.

Time for Sam's conversation, so off he goes to see Holly. Unfortunately Trapjaw is clinging on to her for dear life, so anything Sam says he hears as well. Basically the conversation goes something like 'You scratch our backs and we'll scratch yours', roughly translated we won't put you up if you don't put us up if you win HoH. What the hell has this got to do with Trapjaw, come on Holly this is your HoH. Don't let HIM run it like he is doing now.

Trapjaw realises the Shit Shooters will have to turn on each other, and Sam could be valuable in getting rid of the bigger targets. So another alliance dominating again unless things change very quickly. Yawn o rama city or what.

Speaking of Trapjaw, he is now telling Holly that Christie has to go soon, as she is too close to Tommy. Holly thinks Christie has everyone wrapped around her little finger, and she wouldn't be far wrong to be honest. I mean, she managed to get Cliff around to her way of thinking with all that BS last week about not using her power. Trapjaw continues to interfere telling her that's why Sam or Nick should stay so that shot could be taken at Christie. Play your own game, Holly, not his!!!!!!!

Holly tells us she wants to keep Sam, as she needs strong players for when the time comes to take the shots at the Shit Shooters

Nominations ceremony

Straight down to business, and she has nominated NICK and SAM. So basically, the two most have been expecting all episode long. She tells Nick about the lack of trust after he broke away from h8ful, and a few steps backwards have been taken. As for Sam, he has just got caught in the crossfire.

She tells us her alliance want one of these nominees out. She freely admits that Shit Shooters will have to disband soon and start turning on each other. But now is not that time, and she doesn't want to cause division within the Shit Shooters. Strange, that's what everybody else wants as in Shit Shooters broken up and out the door. They are the chief troublemakers and the two main instigators of all the trouble are still there.

Who will win Veto, and will it be used to save Nick or Sam. Find out in Episode 16, when the Power of Veto competition rears it's head again.

Not much of note in that episode, as most knew the result of the HoH comp from the live feeds. Most knew Trapjaw would take over this HoH, and he has done that in spades. How that guy is still there is anybody's guess, as what you didn't see on screen was his constant rule breaking when it came to being a Have-Not. It's just unfortunate them backstage are condoning what he is doing and continues to do, in being a nasty pain in the rear end. Him and Aquaman both.

Will be a sad day when Kat is evicted, I just hope when she is she makes it to jury so we can get a few weeks more gems out of her with her unintentional comedy. Anything is better than watching one alliance picking the rest of the house off, while they sail through unscathed.

Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 14 - Eviction and start of next HoH

And so another week in the house of horrors comes to a close, with either Bella or Aquaman facing the vote

Last time out, Jackson won Veto and Christie worked her manipulation on Cliff, who unfortunately fell for said manipulation, essentially doing the Shit Shooters work for them in putting Bella on the block who they wanted out, due to her and Nick breaking away from the bigger 8 person alliance and not being trusted.

As stated Jackson used Veto on himself and Cliff, as outgoing HoH, put Bella on the block in one of the most stupidest moves in recent history, citing he didn't want to break his word and not upset his family. Does Cliff even know what show he's on? Seriously. His life expectancy in the game has shortened considerably, I would say. Christie, meanwhile, strolls on with the remaining power in her back pocket, but time is running out to use it.

Anyways onto tonight's festivities and it's most probably a foregone conclusion now who will go. The best chance to get rid of Aquaman and Cliff, amongst others, blew it. Get ready for a Shit Shooter steam roll if it is the expected result.

Nick is none too pleased with Cliff, saying Cliff has probably lost everyone except Shit Shooters the game overall, and for me he isn't far wrong. Cliff says he didn't go against his word, for fear of Christie using the remaining power. Would that have been so bad, at least it would have been flushed and no longer a threat hanging over everyone? Cliff says Nick and Bella are a sinking ship, pot kettle black seeing he has shortened his game by a few weeks now.

Bella seems resigned to her fate as she plays checkers with Nick, and it causes an emotional response from both as they start crying. Bella thinks she deserves to be there. Given the way she acted towards Nicole, I would say yes and no.

Aquaman and Trapjaw Jackson are with Cliff, saying he's got a really sweet deal. Jeez, Cliff really can't see this deal with Shit Shooters is worthless as they will get him out LONG before jury. Cliff then admits the move may have been a mistake, well duh. Too late now, Cliff. He thinks he can buy a few more weeks, good luck with that, pal. He seems very confident he will still be there when Shit Shooters start to fall apart.

Holly and Kat are talking about the pageant world, and we see clips of them making a final 2 pact. Much like Nicole, Kat is adorable despite not playing with a full deck. She is so needed in this house, just bringing the lighter moments to a toxic house.

Back to Cliff and Bella, and he is explaining to Bella about why he put her up. Usual excuse, as in "afraid of Christie using the power" and whatever else. For all the good it will probably do, Bella suggests Cliff could break a tie if she could secure 5 votes, Cliff wishes her luck in this. Think she may need luck to pull this off. Cliff then ponders what to do should the unlikely tie scenario happen.

Bella uses the Aquaman is a bigger threat pitch with Kat and Christie. She admits she burnt bridges, and that may not work in her favour. Kat thinks Aquaman is a big player, and wonders two things. Firstly, would voting out Aquaman be good for her game, and secondly is it the right time to go after Aquaman.

Attention now switches to Jessica and equally adorable Nicole, however there is a downside given the way she treated Nicole recently. Jessica says she is still mad at Bella for outing the short lived Black Widows alliance, and Aquaman is basically part of a six making house decisions. Nicole seems to be impressed with Bella's campaigning, and this is the Bella she wanted to work with.

Pointless segment alert up next, as we get to see clips of Cliff's family watching him play the game so far. Think it's safe to skip over this bit.....

Eviction

Eviction time already, and as per the rules the nominees will not vote and Cliff, as HoH, will only vote in the event of a tie.

Bella basically lays it all on the line saying Shit Shooters will pick everyone outside of the alliance every week.

Aquaman's speech is just full of bullshit as he claims he has been very welcoming to everyone and acted with integrity. Think the live feeds speak a different story, pal.

Anyways onto the vote

  • Christie votes to evict Bella
  • Analyse votes to evict Bella
  • Trapjaw votes to evict Bella
  • Nick votes to evict Aquaman
  • Sam votes to evict Aquaman
  • Nicole votes to evict Bella
  • Kat votes to evict Bella, but it should be noted she did have a brain fart and thought Trapjaw was still on the block and said his name first.
  • Jessica votes to evict Bella
  • Holly votes to evict Bella
  • Tommy votes to evict Bella
By a vote of 8-2, Bella has been evicted to no great surprise. Thanks a lot, Cliff.

She admits to Julie that she and Nick were blindsided when Cliff was voted into Camp Comeback, and she firmly believes Christie was behind the flip. She does feel bad when talk turns to Nicole, and she says there were apologies during campaigning, and wishes she taken a few steps back and looked at the situation more, saying it was wrong not to let Nicole in the HoH room.

Then onto the subject of her big mouth, which basically exposed some new alliances and admits it was bad gameplay on her part. Showmance with Nick the next item, and Bella thinks it is real. Julie jokes about Bella going home to meet Mom. Usual goodbye messages are then played, and final thoughts being she is grateful to have been a part of this season, and thinks Nick or Sam have the best chance of winning. I seriously doubt that, wouldn't be at all surprised now with a Shit Shooter steam roll.

HoH competition

Pose in Ivy is the name of this game, and here is how it works. Basically it's endurance, but there are a few twists and turns. Whoever holds on the longest will be the new HoH, and as outgoing HoH Cliff is not eligible to play. Once a houseguest falls off their vines, then they have to draw a chip from the punishment box and 2 of those chips will contain the poison ivy punishment which will be elaborated on in the next episode.

While the competition goes on, Julie talks about a new twist which America will influence in the next Veto episode. Three houseguests chosen by America will take a field trip and one of their games will be on the line. More coming in said episode.

We go back to the comp to close the show, and Jessica has already fallen off, and then once the credits roll Nicole drops as well.

Can the outsiders get this or will Shit Shooters claim yet another power......Find out in Episode 15

Big Brother USA 2019 - Episode 13 - Power of Veto

A new face and faction in power this week, as Cliff beat Aquaman to the HoH power. He immediately stamped his power on the house this week as he nominated both Aquaman and Trapjaw Jackson for eviction, but with 2 of the not so secret powers in Shit Shooters alliance hands it could get a bit problematic if one or both remaining powers are used.

Aquaman's power enables the Veto player picks gets redrawn if they are not to Jack's satisfaction, and Christie can give the Veto winner the power to pick the replacement nominee instead of the HoH.

Personally, Aquaman has the weakest power of the 2 so won't be no great loss if he used it.

We pick up the action after the nominations ceremony, and Cliff admits he needs to win this Veto with Christie's power hanging over the house.

Aquaman is throwing his toys out of the pram, nothing new there. This guy is just full of hate and loathing towards others, and let's hope he is out of there this week. Why the hell is Tommy crying though, it's not as if the two nominees are heading to a firing squad if one of them go. Christie is happy not be on the block, and is mulling over her power. She tells Shit Shooters that she will NOT use the power if an outsider wins Veto. Secretly she is planning not to use it as it's too early in the game.

Cliff is telling Kat, they have to watch each others backs, then in comes Bella and she is very happy that she did not go on the block. Finally in comes Nick and there is a little celebratory dance, you could say Cliff is dancing with the devils.

Slop

"Houseguests, there is no escape, as have-nots are here. They will only eat slop, sleep in the have-not room and have cold showers. Cliff, as HoH, has to choose 4 have-nots for the week"

Have-nots, as chosen by Cliff - TOMMY, KAT, CHRISTIE and TRAPJAW

Christie is now thanking Cliff for not putting her on the block, and says everyone knows she has the power, and will make up her own mind on whether to use it this week or not. Cliff, meanwhile, is wary of the power Christie has, and hopes to make sure she doesn't overshadow his HoH reign.

Trapjaw, Aquaman, Tommy and Christie are convening in the Have-Not room, and speculation is rampant about who has the other power. Jack then lets them in that he has the other power, and thinks that more Shit Shooters are in the Veto comp the better, and then Christie can use her power to get power back on their side.....What a revolting thought.

Veto picks

Cliff as HoH, and Aquaman and Trapjaw are automatically in this comp. Cliff draws Sam via the houseguests choice token, Aquaman draws Holly and Trapjaw draws Jess. But wait!!!!!!

Jack activates his Chaos power, causing the drawing to be reset, and off we again. Pointless power I would say, as it adds absolutely nothing. We go again......

Cliff draws Kat, Jack draws Sam and Trapjaw draws Analyse.....Jack's power can be only be used once so this are the players now for this comp.

Before the comp starts, Nick tells Bella he loves her.....Buckets all round, please. Cliff tells them both if Christie uses her power, there's not a lot he can do as there are not enough votes to go around. Winning the Veto is now even more of a priority for Cliff, as he needs to keep nominations the same.

Veto competition

No name for this one as far I could make out, so here's the explanation, and may I just say what a great setup for this comp. The players will go one at a time on a jetski, and they have to undress down to their swimsuit and then get out and press a button. But of course it's not as simple as that, as they have to press and hold 3 buttons while undressing. If one button is released, then the timer will speed up and go ten times faster, two buttons 30 times faster, and all 3 buttons 60 times faster. The player with the fastest time will the Veto, and if it hasn't been said already Christie could invoke her power, depending on who wins Veto.

Times after the competition

Cliff - 4:47
Analyse - 9:06
Sam - 11:21
Kat - 3:25
Aquaman - 13:10
Trapjaw - 2:59

Oh dear, Trapjaw wins the Veto....Over to you, Christie, if you dare

Christie knows all eyes are trained on her now, as they wonder if she will use her power. Tommy is confident that she will. Time for another little freak out from Christie, as she doesn't know what to do now. She says Cliff will be mad if she uses it, and makes an enemy of whoever doesn't go home in the eviction if she doesn't. Well you will insist on telling everyone, Christie, got no sympathy whatsoever. If you had kept your mouth shut, you made your bed and now you have to lie in it.

In a discussion with Trapjaw, he tells her the blood will be on his hands, and that the target is Bella. He admits he wants Bella gone, and tries to sway Christie into giving the power to him should she use it. Inside, Christie is getting really mad and says to us she thinks Trapjaw is being selfish, and is trying to run the alliance himself. Think those cracks are starting to get a little bigger.

One last attempt from Christie to Cliff now, and tells him Trapjaw is pushing her to use this power she has. Cliff is slowly getting backed into a corner here as he says he could be public enemy number one next week should Shit Shooters get HoH. He knows full well Aquaman and Trapjaw could have run of the place. To this end Christie suggests if he backdoors Bella, she will use her power in the next two weeks to benefit Cliff. Christie says for the next two weeks, Cliff won't be the target. Yeah, whatever. Finally she says if Cliff lets her keep her power, then they will be good. Cliff foolishly agrees to this. He then tells us that he still wants Jack out of the house, and wants to put up another Shit Shooter regardless, but if he honours this deal it could be a good move for his long term game.

Veto ceremony

Unsurprisingly, Trapjaw uses the Veto on himself, but of course there could be another twist here if Christie uses her power. But she doesn't, and Cliff chooses BELLA as the replacement nominee.....Errrrrr, what? Is he serious?

Big dummy, played right into Christie's hands there and made sure now it's going to be a steam roll for Shit Shooters. Well done Cliff, you've just doomed everybody.

Cliff says he could have made a huge move, and for me he should have, in putting Christie on the block. He says he would have broken a promise, and with his family watching couldn't break his word. Feeble excuse, pal, just admit you were played by Christie. As soon as Shit Shooters are back in power, you are out of there.

Bella can't understand why Jack is so loved in there. Well, let's just say he's not exactly flavour of the series out here with anyone. Nick is absolutely baffled and wonders why Cliff would put up someone who has his back, and now Shit Shooters will come after him. Naturally Trapjaw and Christie are happy with their handiwork, and says the work to save Aquaman starts now.

To be continued in Episode 14, when Bella or Aquaman take the walk of shame. Although this does seem like the start of a Shit Shooter steam roll all the way to final 6 now. Who's going to stop them now, it all hinges on the next HoH which I believe is endurance, so all hopes now on you, Nicole.

Anyways, thanks for reading as this uncomfortable season continues onward, and please keep the RT's, likes, shares and comments coming in
